Domino Router Jig
How to build a simple domino shaping jig out of 9mm plywood:
- Cut two pieces of plywood the width of the router base and about 30mm longer than the router base lengthwise.
- Locate the edge of the ball bearing of the router bit and then cut a piece of plywood that is as broad as from that point to the opposing side of the router base.
- Measure 22mm away from that point then cut another length the distance from here to the closest edge of the base.
- Glue the pieces together so that you have a channel running through the jig which, when the bit is positioned correctly, the wood blank will meet the bit and round over the corner.
- Using a forstner bit, cut a hole through the jig exactly in the middle, so that when the jig is mounted on the router, the bit is exposed.
- Joint then thickness down an old plank of hardwood, then rip it into 10mm sheets, thickness these down to 8mm then rip these into 2000mm x 22mm x 8mm lengths.
- Feed these badboys into the router jig.
- Tape all these lengths together then bandsaw them into 30mm dominoes ready for your next project.

Applying Fabric to a Speaker Grill
Переглядів 13 тис.3 роки тому
Learn how to apply grill fabric to a frame using no staples, only spray adhesive, so that it sits flush with the baffle, with minimal fabric wastage.
Make sure your camera is the correct direction when you start filming. Could’ve been vertical or horizontal but the vertical video on horizontal format is awful. Can’t see a damn thing bro
which way is the "right way" for the fabric?
great work, what type of adhesive?
Wow! Thanks for your time, Dave! Cheers!
Very helpful David Thx. Will try this on the next ones.
Thank you! Great to see an Aussie video about this 👍
Good job
