Here is the final test of our project. It is a fully autonomous mission going to three different waypoints, dropping off a ball at each waypoint and returning home.

Here is another demonstration of a fully autonomous flight but this one is a little different than the previous one. In this one I was able to get automatic take off to reach the specified altitude. Also got the drone to hover over the waypoint for 3 seconds instead of immediately heading over to the next waypoint once it reaches the waypoint.

Here is a demonstration of our first fully autonomous flight going to 3 GPS coordinates and returning to launch. Next I will work on doing different things once it reaches each coordinate such as loiter over the coordinate and activating the servo motor once its attached.

Demonstration of loiter mode. Loiter mode uses a combination of altitude hold and GPS lock to keep the drone in one position. Wind moves the drone around a little bit but for the most part it stays in one solid position.

This video demonstrates return to launch mode. Return to launch uses a combination of loiter mode and GPS lock. Flight using RC and Altitude Hold Mode

After I got comfortable with the controls while the drone was on the leash, I took it to a nearby park and flew it around off the leash. Here is a demonstration of flight where I used the remote control to fly it around a bit and then I activated altitude hold mode.
