It'd be nice to also hear you really dig into the guitar, as many J45 players would do. As the website profile says, "...with the growl and thump sought after in the great slope-shoulder dreads of the Wartime era." We really didn't get a chance to hear how it responds to a harder attack, though I suspect it does it quite well. 🙏

I'm sure you have demo'd this model before. Let's be honest, you just wanted an excuse to jam on this wonderful Lowden, and who could blame you, you do it so well!

Nice playing Larry! The O-22 still remains my favorite model even when playing Lowdens more than twice the price. Someone will be lucky to scoop this one up!

I'm pretty sure that if I was was down your way, I would have bought this Gallagher instead of the Gibson 1942 Banner J-45 Vintage Sunburst I just purchased. Gibson custom shop just is nowhere near the finish of a boutique luthier like Gallagher.

They're all great of course, although I've become intrigued by sinker redwood tops recently, just from whst I've heard on UA-cam, never played one. That O35 redwood is really nice.
