The Nile Theater - Mesa, AZ - February 16th, 2024
Ugh I cannot begin to explain how much I wanted this. In April of 2023, I posted on instagram how "if I could see HLNPIT in concert it would probably heal me", a couple months went and that's exactly what was announced?! This was a wonderful performance, a great venue (I didn't get the wet and sticky feeling like I do at The Marquee), and everyone was nice as hell. I was pretty close to the front so my phone kept pretty much at eye level so hopefully I didn't ruin anyone's viewing pleasure behind me.
This is the last song off of HLNPIT, and as much as I've heard people complain about bands performing an album straight through in order, I love it, I eat this up, I want exactly this. I'm happy this was how it went. :)
