I think that should be possible but you will need to test the settings as some might melt it too much.

It depends on what you mean. In the instructions it state's that it can engrave "coated" metal. That means to me that it can burn the paint away from the metal, not the metal it self.

I thought the same but when you add more ink and more pressure it just gets blotchy as the pressure pushes the ink to the sides and it just fills up the spaces between the blocks 😕

@@UnboundedArtandCrafts have you tried with just more pressure but the same amount of ink? That method of printmaking usually uses a machine that puts even pressure over the paper. I'm also thinking since this is with Lego bricks, it could be that it needs a different type of ink because linoleum has some flex to it but Lego bricks are hard plastic, so that may be the cause of the ink pushing out. I've done acrylic printmaking and we used a thinner ink for that

I'm interested to hear how it works out. From what I understood is that the lino paint is the correct ink for this technique it's just not called ink because it's treated to not dry as quickly.

@@PICKaREALITY you can attach it to the foam and put the foam into the cap. It also depends on the mini you have, is the base flat for example just use some double sided tape.

9:10 if you would have watched the video you would know the answer. It should work as long as you make the glass not clear.

This is stretched canvas but both are an option, just be careful as the board can warp.

I personally think this machine is not able to burn silicone but you will have to ask the manufacturer, sorry I don't use a laser on silicone.

Normally you would carve into linoleum but I'm carving into layers of special acrylic paint

I use 3-ply thick toilet paper and how many squares depends on how big you want them, I use 3 for most.

@@UnboundedArtandCrafts how do I get to stay consistent I’m doing all the steps twist with right thumb then place left thumb and twist it’ll be good for a few then eventually I’ll have nothing to use I try going back and redoing but it just gets worse

Okay I think from what I understand while reading you might be folding over too much. So I start with folding the corner in 2/3 then fold again but just about max 1 cm (sorry I only do metric) and start with that. Make sure you keep that fold over the same size. Did you try to scan the other QR code? I think I show you the app in the video, it's called engraver on my phone and as far as I know it's not in the Google app store just available through the link.
