Ryan is an award winning queer director, screenwriter, producer and cancer survivor based in Los Angeles, CA.
He got his start as an editor in New York City, eventually transitioning into a 9 year career as a commercial producer.
His first short film, “You’re Family Now,” has gone on to win Best Short at the 2021 GenreBlast film festival, and was an official selection at 19 other festivals. He wrote and directed "The Runner" the following year which premiered at the prestigious ReelAbilities film festival in LA, the premiere festival to exclusively showcase films by and about people with disabilities. His third short film "LAST NIGHT' will premiere in the festival circuit spring of 2024.
As a queer filmmaker his writing focuses on Sci-fi/Horror elements, often from a LGBTQ prospective.
