Well Chappy has realized that Api and Hoppy shouldn't play together anymore 😢 but she's right! Sadly😢 Api is becoming a lot stronger and is playing rougher and could really hurt Hoppy. Of course not on purpose but it can happen in a heartbeat. Mom knows this and keeps leading Hoppy away from Api. It's amazing to see the loyalty Hoppy has for his brother. When he got away from mom he went right over and sat with Api. In the wild Api probably would have left a couple of years ago. But being raised in captivity means that poor Api probably won't understand why he will be separated 😢 It's going to be sad to see. I know that I really enjoy watching the two of them play😅 except when they get too excited and start trying to penetrate each other😢that's when Hoppy could really get hurt, Api has a really strong grip and holds onto him really tight. Anyway, it's necessary but sad😢. Thanks for the great video 😊❤

This is the first time I've seen Orangutans eating 💩 poop! I've seen gorilla's do that. I know that usually when dogs do that it's because they are lacking certain minerals in their diet. I wonder if it's the same with apes!?! I still haven't figured out why they drink urine 😅

I've been watching sonce Hoppy was born. It's been amazing watching him grow up. But ...is thrre any way they can give these young male orangutans something to control their sex drive until they are older??? I know it's nature, but 🤮

This is just another example as to why orangutans, chimps and gorillas need separated from mom at age 4. They are in a zoo, not a jungle. There isn't nearly as much to learn.

Well it's finally happened, Api is on his own now😢 I knew the time was getting close because Chappy was going over and taking Hoppys hand and leading him away from Api😢 it happened several times just in one video. But at least Hoppy is playing with his mom😊 I hope that someone becomes an advocate for Api with the zoo! Now would be the perfect time to put Api with 2 other females to form their own family!! Instead of keeping him in solitary like with Que and Borneo!! Thanks for the great video ❤

she's trying to have sex with him. this video is pretty mild, but i've seen her do it with both sons. disgusting behavior. she also performs oral sex on them in multiple videos and riki penetrates her on at least one occasion seemingly to completion. vile behavior and abnormal for these usually wonderful mothers.

riki isn't to be blamed. his mother is a predator, if you watch videos with her younger male offspring Loki it's plain as day that she regularly molests him and must have done so to riki as well. and it goes far beyond the natural and healthy hygiene practices orangs do that would be seen. as inappropriate for humans, it is clear and intentional sexual behavior.
