I have an rog ally x and lately bought this to put steam os on it. Word of advise: If you buying this to put steamos on it don't do it.... I tried Bazzite/Cgimeraos/Holoiso/Steamfork/Nobara os/ wifi stops working after you put it to sleep and you have to restart it to get the wifi working With windows installed its actually a great device for the price ! Best emulation station you can get... I got the 512gb version on Temu for $200 with coupon so no complains there! And to be honest it feels premium Its basically the ayaneo next with lower end CPU

The Ram is correct. The specific chip is the SK Hynix. It's LPDDR4 @3733. Typically they're are 8 chips in dual channel, with each channel having 4GB, 8GB in total. A single chip would be 1GB.

Does it crash or freeze up on some games? I'm getting interested in getting one to play the old Pokemon games like black and white, heartgold and soulsilver ect but I don't want to really experience crashes or it breaks on me after a couple months

How do you save games safely? Some people have been complaining that they save their games and turn off the console and when they turn it on again, the saved games are gone.

NAH! a waste of time with this "retro vertical" theres a best option like r36s, xu10, k36 or even a trimui smart pro or a rg35xx H, because how crazy is spend 64$ for THIS!! if the rg35xx H is 45$ and have the same proccesador and 1gb ram

I'm confused about the Surwish CrossMix. As I understand it the CrossMix was a community developed ROM/OS that is still getting updates. The "Surwish" feels as if it's a variant of the CrossMix by MechDIY. If that is the case..what happens when CrossMix continues to gets updates - are you 'stuck' at the CrossMix version where MechDIY took it and made a version of it? IF the above is true, I think you need to say so.
