Not true
International ❤
He will take Volvo he is from Europe, plus he better have big pockets for repairs, I go Freightliner affordable, more reasonable on repairs. Plus, he will have to die in the dealer for parts. The Freightliner one or two days and you are rolling out and still making money 💰 instead of losing money.
How I get started
They're all garbage
What would be your top pick if you had every option on the table?
@supertruckerpodcast1441 i would choose none. 20 years of trucking is enough for me. None are appealing anymore
if I had to choose between a Freightshaker, innertrashional or that I guess id get the volovo but Ill stick with my Kw.
Yea TQL charged me that money, they say that the burden of proof is on the carrier. Even though it clearly had forklift damage and the load was covered at pick up and deliver. Receiver removed the plastic wrap after they unloaded my flatbed and noted the damage on my BOL. I guess my only option is to go to court but i rather not work with TQL anymore than waste my time.
It's a hard pill to swallow, but sometimes you gotta cut your losses and move on. We haven't pulled a single load with TQL since 2012. None of the trucking companies we have relationships with works with TQL. This must mean something. Be safe out there brother.
Transflo plugs right into Volvo diagnostic port.
Thanks for the tip, I will look into it! This is an older video, and unfortunately we are looking for alternatives. Currently testing Samsara, but need to look into more options.
Haha.....why not showing here but giving u a call ?! Scammmmeeeerrrrrsssss!
A thief believes everybody steals.
Very true
Saying you work 50 weeks a year is ridiculous. Be more accurate. Drivers need a life. What’s more accurate is 38 weeks a year. It’s work smarter not harder.
We are not telling anyone what to do. Every Owner-Operator has different plans and goals. We have people in our fleet who only go home every 6 months because they have very ambitious goals, while at the same time, we have owner-operators who only run every other week. This is why people have very different results. The best part about being an owner-operator is that you make your own decisions.
@ I get it I’ve been out here over 30 years now and I feel if someone has to work that much to make a living. There with the wrong company. I’ve been an owner op for most of those years and by the way I’ve spoken with Christian a few times but I’ve not gotten time to come over to talk to guys in person. I’m still interested
If you ever go through Lakeland, swing by. It's always nice to meet like-minded people in this industry. There is plenty of parking, and coffee is on us. Be safe out there, brother.
Volvo if you have a half million in the bank for repairs
Thanks for the update 👍
You bet
Better to start out free of all that family stuff BEFORE you start out in trucking. Family life and trucking usuially don't mix very well! < long distance mostly, never home! Trucking co. have this thing called "layovers" where you hang around where you dropped your last load-- could be 2-3 weeks before you get your next load," and it most likely wont be anywhere near your home "family" Trucking+family-- NOT❗🤔
We have no idea where this quote came from, but there is something to remember when you need some motivation to keep pushing when trucking happens to you. Them: Why do you work so hard? Me: I want my children to inherit businesses, land, and properties. Not pain and trauma. Stay positive! Stay strong! Stay in the fight!
You're doing a fantastic job! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Dear subscribers, See this post? This is a perfect example of SCAM, FRAUD and CLICKBAIT. If you thought for a second "Well, let me go check." Think Again, and DON'T!
Invest in stocks equities property Florida God bless you🎉🎉
You got it!
Grand closing 😂
Take a picture of the load before closing the doors. And before backing, bumping the dock
DON’T FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!! TRUCKING IS ONE OF THE WORST JOBS EVER!!!! 👎👎👎👎
I can hardly comprehend this comment. Is this really the downfall of our society? Such extreme ignorance and entitlement! While trucking may be a challenging industry suited for only a few, labeling it a scam and the worst job suggests that we’re facing dire times ahead.
As a flatbedder I always take pics and walkaround video paying particular attention to existing damage to vehicle/equipment body and glass, also my securement.
🎉🎉🎉🎉
You help out so many people God bless you hope you have a very good Hanukkah very good Christmas very good Kwanzaa God bless God bless🎉
Get something out of Florida and get up into Atlanta God bless😅
I always pay for diesel and pay for tolls🎉
❤❤
Love the way you speak. Nice accent ❤
We don't get that very often. Thank you.
@@supertruckerpodcast1441 Oh, Gorgeous too. Is your accent Russian or Polish ?
500 miles in three days?😭
You guys are the best info thanks again Merry Christmas🎉🎉
Merry Christmas to you too brother!
😮😮😮😮
🎉
They should have the amount of money the shipper paid for the load to be shipped!!! UPS, USPS, FEDEX all these shipper documents how much they pay. Why not a brokerage. So the carrier knows he or she is being compensated properly.
My home load in the 90's was Melons as they came off the ships at the Tampa Port, sometimes a heavy load of Tropicana juice or heavy banana's and other than that I ran empty to Atlanta to get a better paying load as it was a flip of the coin sometimes. I'm about to get back in the game after driving for a company since '02 and check in here when I can to see how you all are handling things down there. You give out some good info as well.
Always happy to see people jumping back in the game. Welcome back brother.
You're a wolf information and I appreciate all your information your love your accent everything God bless you 💟
God bless you too!
My understanding is that you should also ensure that the carrier name is on the BOL and not just the broker. Not sure if this applies specifically to O/O with own authority or also drivers with larger carriers. Your thoughts on this?
Ideally, yes. But if the carrier's name is not on the BOL, there is an easy fix. The driver can write the carrier's name and sign his name when accepting the load (in the driver signature box). Sometimes, it's easier to do that than deal with a combative shipper. Thanks for the comment.
❤❤
@@supertruckerpodcast1441 Since it's my MC I always write in my company name if it's not already there.
Investing is the only way to make a million is through investing. I own 2 laundromats in low income areas. I work about 25 hours a week and gross about 240K a year. whilst working with an advisor like Julianne Iwersen Niemann. I used to work in Sears repairs,, so I saved money by fixing my own machines. Believe it or not, the soap detergent vending machines bring in a good amount as well. Trust me starting and maintaining a profitable business starts with properly managing your finance.
Laundromats are easy to operate...I know this lady you mentioned. I bought a laundromat from a friend many years ago who retired overseas. Repairs are costly. Try to at least learn the basics. I have bill acceptor machines to exchange for tokens, much better than counting and hauling quarters . My locations are near low income housing and apartments, which are very good for business.
I owned 3 laundromats in SF. The biggest 3 issues? The Lease, the lease and the lease. Got screwed by two owners that didn't renew the lease. If you own the building, different story. Probably, it will not be bad to work with your advisor
thanks for talking about your situation. Definitely helps a young and desperate poor guy like me to stay encouraged in striving to achieve my first ever owned business ... 240 gr. < - electric, water, mechanical, supplies, janitorial, city taxes, county taxes, insurance, business license heat, cooling costs & misc.. = ? . these taxes really want to make me work with a CFA. so that i can know how to joggle my way through. how do i reach her
Julianne Iwersen Niemann has always been on the top of my list.. She is regarded as a genius in her area and well knowledgeable about financial markets. I highly recommend you look her up if you need an excellent collaboration.
Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her a message. I hope she gets back to me soon.
And you will pay it off in no time at 1$ a mile rates
You must have been around for a while. The last time I've seen $1 a mile was in 2002. Be safe out there brother.
its not double bunk its single
Look I just crunched my last 192 weeks I made 1.3 million......I just changed in my 2022 for a 2025 ...let's roll
Let's roll brother.
