I logged into my UA-cam studio today and saw your comment my darling sister, and it's really heart warming. Thanks so much ma'am for checking up on me, i am doing very fine, and i trust you and the family are doing very well too by the grace of Almighty God. Amen. I've been away from UA-cam for a while now due to some other commitments which i had to put more attention into, and since the growth here on UA-cam is not there yet, I decided to pause for a while, to sort out some other things. I enjoyed making the videos as some people find them helpful especially the school lunches, and am planning on carrying on as soon as possible by God's grace. Why do some people add tomato to the egusi and some people don't add tomato but only pepper? Is it just a matter of personal taste?

Thank you so much for subscribing and for the kind words, I appreciate them 🤗❤️ As for Tomatoes in Egusi soup, to me personally is not a nice combination, basically the tomatoes are usually meant to tone down the hotness of the pepper in the case of stews and Sauces but for Egusi, Efo riro and other soups that have other accompaniments, they are best made with Scotch bonnets peppers/Chilli peppers in a moderate quantity and Bell peppers with plenty of onions. Incase you don't do plenty spiciness in meals, enough Onions and Red bell peppers (because they are less spicy) with little to non spicy peppers like scotch bonnet pepper ( Rodo ), Chilli pepper 🌶️ e.t.c will do. Apparently people put tomatoes in almost every soups and stews but I think the best way to get the real taste and nutrients in each meals is to balance the ingredients and let them come together naturally and perfectly. But it's also good to explore and mix things up and see how they turn up, whichever way we may choose, we just need enjoy our meals in the way that best suit our taste, all the best my darling.
