What did you do for the speedometer?
@@jayswisher575 This truck already had a small block in it when it came to me. I just replaced the engine and made some changes. The truck has a Turbo 350 and I’m pretty sure the speedometer was cable driven, it’s been a while since I’ve done any work on it.
Thanks for sharing
Looks great you are quite the metal worker.
Great job, way to go! 👍👏
Excellent work Morgan! I really enjoy watching you think then work through the process.
@@wheelieking71 every day’s a school day. Thank you.

Wow! Holy crap that's a lot of work on that little piece. Looks good though eh!
Most ppl don't keep their first car usually sold it or crashed it! Wish I kept my 1st car 72 Nova 6cyl auto!
You have this beautiful car to look back and see what you did to it in your early years and now see all you have learned to do with your hands. i love that car still on my bucket list to go for a ride in it. 😅
@@martyrutter3630 I have definitely learned a lot from my experiences with this car, working on it and driving it. It has taken me to many places and played a role in opening a few doors for me. Let’s go!
Great job
Holy cow...57 Chevy at age 16...wow Most guys in the states here wood have wrecked it by their 18th birthday. Beautiful vehicle 👍 Was thinking of you last night as i watched the original Catwoman and Batgirl in the Bat show ✌️ Some of your work is purrrfect I like how you strive for perfection and know that it can have an excellent outcome even though it's not perfect. A true metal artist ✅
@@jirusjirus9322 I have put this car in the ditch once and have had a few very scary close calls with it. I love working with the metal. Thank you.
What a beautiful axe!!
How would a guy get ahold of you about doing some work?
@@HHBCustoms where do you live and what kind of work
Washington, I have a 58 Belair 4dr ht and would like to suicide the rear doors. Thought you might be a real good candidate for something like that.

I think my original reply is getting flagged so let's try it this way. I'm in Washington and I have a 58 Belair 4dr ht. I would like to make the rear doors open backwards and thought you might be a good candidate for something like that.
@@HHBCustoms there’s a guy on Facebook, Skratch’s Garage, he has a 58 sedan with suicide rear doors. He mentions a source for the hinges. I’m sure it’s something I could handle but I’ve got quite a line up here already and I’m gearing up to put a couple of my own cars through the shop so I’m going to pass. Thanks for asking.
Hum 650 / 750 mix sound posaable. Ho new no pins
Nice catch a fix on the old Quadra bog. Hung throttles can be a bit of a picker moment.
Definitely gotta have working secondaries on a quadrajet so it makes the cool sound when you floor it. Nice fix!

Great video. But why not run the lugnuts back on almost flush with end of stud so you don't(my luck) miss and bogger up threads.
Gasket porting 😂probably five more horsepower

She looks in good shape are you going to apply for "Collector Plates" cheap insurance " !
@@robertblacksmith4355 unfortunately this car wouldn’t qualify for collector plates, it’s too rough for the twits at ICBC

Good ol' Quadrajet. When everything's set up good, they're fantastic! Can be finicky tho. Great catches👍🏻 I have 2 shiny cars and 1 shiny truck. My daily driver, an 01 silverado z71, was, let's just say, not so pretty when I got it. So I decided to Raptor line the whole truck 6 years ago and love the carefree aspect of it!
I changed my fuel filter and went to start the truck following priming procedures for an 04 truck. Long story short, after replacing the lift pump, replacing a starter that i burnt up, testing the battery voltages, and draining-refilling filter housing with diesel, all thats left is this cp3 pump.
@@4AM_DJ sorry to hear that. I looked after a fleet of these trucks, never had any problems restarting after a filter change. I would change the filter, cycle the key a few times and they would fire right up. I’ve never had to do it but there must be a way to check the pressure.
Morgan you got to are weight often to the pulley. You need weight for crusher to work . Try start of with old car front break drum .

@@naturundhund thank you
The more you beat on it the more wrinkly it gets , the way I was taught on shrink metal was to heat a area , slap hammer the metal inward and quickly cool it with a wet sponge . Roofs and hoods are the hardest , looks good to me , a work truck gets beat up after some time anyway no matter how you try not to . 👍🇨🇦
Good work Morgan
