LMAO if I do this with my cresty that boi gonna be on the floor instantly. He is 15 though so perhaps in his younger days maybe. My garg would be fine and perhaps my tokay but she is a little too big to fit on a finger tip.

Please do not put dead animals for veiws... this is a still born no way a healthy gecko would do this..
How is it dead ?
Curled up in a position similar to an egg, possible stillborn in that it's not moving, looks fairly hard, looks wrinkled up. All are accusations.. but I really don't belive it is "wanting to be inside the egg" plus the only sign of life is the poop right next to it.
Also a reminder that gargoyle geckos can't close their eyes. Forget to put that in
Looking in more I see that the brown thing is not poop it's vermiculite or a different thing you use to hatch eggs as I think this is a breeder

When they're a hatchling do they need a lot more lighting/UVB? Or is it better to add it to the larger enclosure?
It would be really difficult to not overdue uvb for a baby considering their enclosures are small and you wouldn't want the light right on the enclosure like that. I personally don't use uvb but if I did it would only be on large enclosures to ensure the geckos have opportunities to choose how much exposure they get by moving to different parts of the enclosure

Awesome video, I have a question, how often do you mist your gargoyle geckos?
It really depends on the enclosure. If your enclosure can dry out each day and things like food dont get moldy, then I spray everyday and use that as their drinking water too. If there isn't as much ventilation and it holds humidity well, then I will spray about 2x week but I give them a water bowl so they can drink the days it doesn't get sprayed. You just dont want it to stay wet 24/7 or else any poop and food grows mold and can cause health problems. But same thing if you dont spray enough. So just find the balance of spraying once the enclosure is dry and if there are multiple days in between, just give them a water bowl
