Why the Yeah Yeah Yeahs turned down a major record deal and you should too
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs were offered a $1.5 million dollar record deal in the beginning. Their manager turned it down saying it would put the band in debt to the record company for the rest of their career.
Others have refused a record deal for similar reasons.
Should you take the offer of a record deal, or should you take precautions before grabbing that contract?

Why Reaction videos may have trouble in the future
Переглядів 31День тому
This is not legal advise and may be speculation. Many creators post reaction videos on their UA-cam channel. Whether you know it or not the material they use as a source is under scrutiny as copyright material. Though it doesn't always get flagged or imposed, that doesn't mean it isn't protected. Many times using someone else's posted video as source of discussion rather than an official video ...
Reaction to Reaction to Bruce Dickinson - Number of the Beast Scream

When Paul Di'Anno was fired from Iron Maiden for substance abuse, they took in Samson singer Bruce Dickinson to take his place and set a new sound for the band. Bruce's vocals led them to new heights with his high pitched range, but this song Number of the Beast is epic with his infamous intro scream. Bruce had been at it for hours when producer Martin Birch kept pushing him to keep repeating t...

Reaction to Reaction to Tool - The Grudge - Maynard James long scream

This reaction video shares a few reactions to Maynard James Keenan and Tool on his long scream in the song The Grudge. Some clocked it at 25 seconds which is a long time to hold a scream like that. I put one of the clips out of order and had to cut out that I said it was the last one. Sorry about that. Musician Reacts to White Stripes live

This is my first time analyzing Jack White and his guitar playing and showmanship. I've heard his solo songs, but never knew how much he put into it with White Stripes. The band was a success at the end of the 1990s into 2000 when they broke up around 2011 when drummer Meg White suffered from anxiety. But they had some good moments and certainly held their own. I've just recently come to apprec...

Bruce did it, and if it was difficult it is even more merit for him. Bruce did it, and if it was difficult it is even more merit for him. No vocoder at this time, it is better to criticize the current singers and voices corrected by machines, none is as good as the singers of the Iron Maiden era. 🤙
If she was boring as you are they would had not asked her to join the band. 😂 Do not touch her, she is queen now 🎉
No she is not as boring as me. She is entertaining. So we are good there.
Rob Dickinson > Bruce Dickinson
I have always hated tool and perfect circle, even before I knew why. Maybe you should expose them for the TOOLS that they really are

are you fucking kidding me ? reactions are fucking stupid and now you are reacting to a reaction GET A LIFE LOOSER !!!!!
Bruce Dickinson marca gerações...
It's IRON MAIDEN not Bruce Dickinson!!!
Maynard did that live in a few shows i saw in the early naughts, but unfortunately hes not able to do that anymore. In Miami this past January he held it for 10-12 seconds, which is about where he's been since around 2012.
This is the Maiden I fell in love with. "Killers" was one of my favorites.
Awesome!!!
This is the Iron Maiden I saw at Newcastle Mayfair UK in 1980, great night
@@vonnymcQ wow that’s a rare treat
25.8 seconds
@@Inoculum incredible
Maynard stopped doing the 25 second scream because the last time he did it in concert he almost blacked out, so it's much shorter in concert now.

Such an entertaining video, and very innovative in your approach. Well done!
Good luck in your hobby bro❤
I wrote two poems that were turned into songs and they were both about the pain of losing a loved one. One was Heaven's Light (Tina's Song) I lost my Best friend/sister in THE STATION NIGHTCLUB FIRE ON 2/20/03 and the other poem was called Calling Your Name (The Ballad of Rick Champagne). This was written afyer losing my husband Rick to Stage 4 Lung Cancer on 1/21/17.
I like drawing more than writing but when I do write it's usually things that have been on my mind, nothing in particular usually. Not very good at writing.
@@Muscletearror writing is subjective. As long as it means something to you. You can write happenings, thoughts, victories, woes, meaningful subjects to you, or just random poems put to song. Writing is writing.

This woman must be sick in the head
We need to go deeper. Or higher, whatever your preference. Inception style.
She was also in a band for 12 years before they asked her to join
Exactely. THEY asked her to JOIN
She is not a scientologist, she is gay, that is against there beliefs
Jim, what’s up? When did you become so worldly? How many of them bass players gave all glory to God?! NONE! Don’t get me wrong, I really really used to dig all of that kind of music, but that music definitely distracts us from the glory of God. Thinking about myself in my past, and considering what I see in other people today, music is the anti-glorification of God. I love you, brother. God loves you, brother. You need to seek wisdom concerning music.
@@daveschoeneman763 let me ask you. Do you comment on politics even though it’s run by devils? Do you praise a man who isn’t of God? Do you ever celebrate a secular football team? So you enjoy any movies and maybe refer them to anyone?
Proselytizing might help you feel saved. But it has nothing to do with music.
Chain reaction? How far can this go? Reaction to the reaction of a reaction to a reaction... I always prefer actors to reactors anyway. No critic has ever been given a monument. I wonder what this is all about. Just leave it!
I've watched her reaction many many times! For her reaction, but also just for Child in time.
I think this is her best live performance so far, she sounds incredible
I have been doing the same thing, watching different reactors to this particular song and others, it is very entertaining!!!
Brilliant! This is such an awesome react song And to do a react to the react is brilliant!!
Yes she got choked up on this song to be expected
🤝🇩🇪🤝👍👏🙏
Purple have always been my favourite band. Gillan has been a stunning singer.
To me dhe sounded ammmmazing in this she sang her own version and you can already feel she sang with a lot of emotions.....thats what i confirmed it, yeah shes the one, who can carry on chesters fire. Its not just the voice and scream, you have to put emotion and she did it perfectly, and some might not sound with emotion thats because she didnt write it with them.
You choose the wrong song and should hear all the music to give a opinion. Of course she not Chester, but this Woman rocks
@@danidanidesigner glad to hear. Some have a lot of criticism for her I don’t think it’s because of her, but because they don’t want anyone to replace Chester. The reality is the band chose her. And she does sound like she has a good voice. I don’t doubt that.
Hadn't head this song in ages, but listened to it last week half a dozen times from as many reactors, several of the same ones you did. And then finding someone else doing that too is pretty cool. Thanks!
There is just so much to this song that I find very interesting to see reactors reacting to. Not just Ian Gillan’s superb vocals, but also Ritchie Blackmore absolutely shredding that Fender Stratocaster during the crescendo and the late great Jon Lord during a few of his organ riffs, especially at the start of the second half that he said was inspired by Flight of the Bumble Bee. Not to mention the two guys on the engine room who never missed a beat, Roger Glover on bass and Ian Paice on drums. This is DP Mark 2 and is the best line up imho. Just five of the best musos at one in their own little bubble, just going for it with their raw talent. No computers, synths, auto tunes or any other electrickery. This is the music of my late teens and early twenties. I’m 71 and still love my DP, LOUD!
@@tedburnard841 there could be reaction to the classical arrangement, and every aspect of it that is interesting, but this one I was focused on that particular vocal spot
@@jimdukeproject thanks for your reply. Looking forward to that. Subscribed so I won’t miss it 😊
@@tedburnard841 I could go into how Ritchie Blackmore stole the riff from another band haha. But how he turned it into theirs.
