Because despite looking like a Zeon MS, it's actually part-Gundam. There is a Dijeh that has a Gundam Head. (Heck the HG Dijeh gives you a choice between Gundam eyes or monoeye. It is literally Zeon Defectors making an MS for Feds but using their own styles. It's a Gundam that had drunken seggs with a Zeon MS.

Nope Rick dijeh just a mobile suit not a Gundam type, but moon Gundam its still a Gundam, if u want to conplain, just can say that to sunrise, because It is filmmaking that categorizes Gundam type mobile suits or ordinary mobile suits

Besides varguil is also made of gundanium alloy which means by definition, is technically already a gundam

​@@muhamadariefrahmanhakim9166i think the main issue is that in some continuity you just need to be made of the same tech/materials to be a "gundam" while in others its a status/title to be called one. For example in Witch from Mercury you needed the Gund-format to consider a suit a gundam while in others "Gundam" is a title given to similar looking machines despite not sharing techs

The Rick Dijeh isn't really a weaker suit. The machine was made specifically for Amuro and uses the very same controls that would later be implemented in the Nu Gundam. The Moon "Gundam" is little more than a prototype mobile suit with a Gundam head slapped on it
