Wow. This is so very heartbreaking and so beautiful too. I was brought to tears. Stede holds a special place in my heart. You’ve done a wonderful job showing how he struggled with his lack of self esteem and self worth throughout most of his life. How he was told over and over that he was not enough and never would be.
