Do you separate your roots in between your reties? If so, when do you do it and how long dies it generally take you because *tuh* it takes me a HAWT minute after washes..😅
Hey hey! I usually separate right after washing but I get a retie every 4-5 weeks so it’s very rare that my roots get stuck together. In regards to the other comment, what do you mean by a tour 😅 I’m not familiar with this concept
@@danieocam actually I have, but she mentioned that I just do my best and she’ll get to the problematic ones during my appointment. I am no braider, but I do band when I wash my hair…but the problem of my roots marrying comes and goes as I’m only 1yr and 7 months loc’d and I’ve just recently attempted at regularly washing and separating every 2 weeks instead of waiting for my retie every 4-5 weeks which can be a little on the uncomfortable side. But maybe with the new routine the problem will go away overtime

Love this! I’m going to try but make a twist first to see how it holds up.
The twist will definitely give it a curl. I did that for years but I wanted to see what it would look like without it. I think I need to leave them in longer than 1 day for them to really hold up 😩

Would you recommend this for 3 month old sisterlocks. I really hate the sisterlocks shampoo since I don’t find it cleansing and want an alternative. I wash my hair every 2 weeks currently so need something cleansing enough x
Hi! I can’t say I “recommend” it because I don’t have sisterlocks and im not sure what the initial steps are with new locks. Personally, i think if you’re banding and braiding it should be fine.

Do micro locs get enmeshed like traditional locs? I have traditional locs and i know that i would try micro locs years down the line, but im just worry about the marrhing at the roots and if you have to deal with that and if so, how do you handle that without snapping your locs off or damaging them too much. I know i don't have gentle hands like that and would snap them off by accident or thin the roots.
Hi! So I only notice issues at my roots when my hair gets wet and drys without me separating the roots. Apart from that my roots are fine. I get my hair done every 4-5 weeks so I’m sure that cuts down on the mating of my roots. I don’t think you would snap a loc off….but if you know yourself then only you can control how gentle you are. I have not lost a loc in the 3 years. Hope this helps!

I actually like the CD wash day delight I just think it smells weird. This has a pleasant smell but the perform basically the same in my opinion
