Happy for you. Nothing setup that aligned with one of my strategies so I was mostly hands off. What strategy did you use to get involved?

@brandonrosonina3180 It's kind of like reading the matrix, after several years you get use to it. When it's really moving fast though, you just see the color of a flood of green or red prints and can understand the direction it is likely going in.

@@Insomniac-c7e I understand that, but I did just that on Thursday (which is when this was recorded). AMD and ARM were two of my best trades that day, both put options, 2 contracts each. I saw the bearish patterns setting up around 10am, so I jumped in.

@Jeff-xy7fv I don't trade options so doing that is completely out of my strategy. You say you could make a ton of money, but I would ask what are you risking on that trade, what is your target, and what do your trading metrics say your probability of winning or losing that trade? Buying or selling something because I see weakness is not enough for me to put on a trade. Glad it worked out for you and hope you were able to learn something from it.

Welcome! Let me know if you have any specific questions about levels. I only actively trade shares. I've used options to hedge positions but never directly day traded them. I know many of the traders on the SMB desk do trade options though. What do you trade?

​@@UnsubmittableTrading I trade mainly small caps, I started trading since the beginning of this year so I have got to learn a lot. I was looking into large caps, and that is how I stumbled on your videos.

I draw my levels largely based on distinct highs and lows both intraday and higher time frames, such as the daily or weekly charts. On the NVDA chart I have 4 levels drawn: Low of day, multi bar break, Opening Range Break (ORB), and the premarket low level which is $112.45. The multi bar break is level is part of my Rubberband strategy. The ORB level is the distinct low made within the first 15 minutes of the trading session. A retest of this level after a big bounce like this is fairly significant. The premarket low can have a lot of importance, especially when a stock is gapping significantly. However, today NNVDA wasn't gapping but I just drew it just in case. There was a mild reaction to this level. I hope this answers your question!

I haven't seen him in a while and he's not there today. Mike, who use to run the large caps, is no longer there either. They took a lot of his videos down too which I thought was strange.

I've built a web scraper for a unrelated side project. I also have a simple web scraper I've built on google sheets to scrape Finviz and Benzinga for trading data. What type of scraping are doing?

I'm assuming you're viewing on mobile? I trade on a single 27" monitor at 1440p. You can probably do max resolution on your phone and then zoom into the area you want to focus on.

I've always heard futures are difficult to trade due to how efficient that market is. But I've never traded them. Does the new T+1 settlement time help you or maybe trading options like you said. I would personally prefer both of those as opposed to futures. Good luck!

I'm currently just learning basic scalping and momentum trading, building a playbook, working on my psychology, and practicing entries and exits. I have very little money so I want as much Sim time as possible before working on growing an account. I'm largely stuck doing futures due to PDT rules in stocks/options trading. I'm also considering swing trading on dailies.
