We were trying to get Alex to stay still so that we could take his picture. He had other plans!
Marco Gonzales - Kid Warrior
Переглядів 1,2 тис.12 років тому
Marco was getting bullied and the kid's parents refused to do anything to correct their children's behavior, so we entered Marco into Hill Country Karate in San Antonio. We are not worried about him anymore! The song is "A Warrior's Call" from Volbeat.
This will always be my favorite Hole song while remembering when I was 17 years old in high school ! 🎧🎤🎸
The best Courtney Love song of all time ! 😎🎧🎤🤍
I remember listening to this song when I was in 12 grade; age 17 in 1999 ! 😎🤘
I play this album every night by my pool and end the night on this song as I am putting everything away.
Love this song
Kurt could only dream of having such lyrical and metaphorical ease with the English language, or be as deep - male whining tends to be mistaken for such. When you're the right stereotype, you just need an ordinary amount of talent to be hailed as "great".
Hot take but facts. I've always thought if kurt was perhaps a woman he wouldn't have gotten the same recognition. Nirvana wouldn't be remembered as much as it is and i think a part of kurt knew that too since he had 'white guilt' and 'male guilt'

kurt wrote alot of her songs dude. learn your history
I could never ever love any man this much. Even on the thousandth listen, my heart still breaks.
Country Love was the female version of Kurt Cobain ! 😎🤘🎸🎤🎤
*i lOve thinking (that) what you wrote 🔺 is true ( in🔹a🔹way ) withOUT blaming HER for hIs death*
Nah celebrity skin was prolly the hardest/energetic alt rock album ive heard ever like deadass 🔥🔥🤘🏻🎸🖤
Big me knock off
Amazing it needs years to recognize how good Courtney was. She is a Godness. My life is reflectioned in her songs ... thx Courtney
*she'd wAnt you to live a bEtter life, though...*
yeah a chilli cheese burger and a small portion french fries must do
@@speedyeg-guitars-playlists4800 *[ find her music is often like a great outlet for all kinds of "dark" feelings / situations ~ life very often is not at all a party, but thats "okay" Coz its true...what i meant by what i wrote earlier is, i REALLY dOn't think Courtney with her dArk poetry would want to "push" you in that direction ~ she often sings about things in life that are thEre, and that she knOws about...to me - sometimes - thats comforting ... i Really dó Love her..+*
EnRico that's allright. I tolerate your opinion. Courtney had the reputation of a slut in Germany. But I know that the band L7 can say more about Courtney. By the way, L7 means a tooth and I currently have a L7 tooth gap. But I like more Hole songs than Nirvana songs.
@@speedyeg-guitars-playlists4800 *the other day on pinterest i wanted to write ... `UnAnswered LOVE sOmetimes turns me into a slUt´ ... and they wouldn´t let me..R❓CkY*
this just reminds me of a time when things in the world were so much better.................we're all in the twilight zone now
Who hasn't lived this ??? Profound indeed 😥
i found the lyrics to one of the verses on an old photo from twelve years ago. Googling the lyrics made me realize I had completely forgotten how much this song meant to me a decade ago. Listening to it now, it's sweet - sentimental almost. The song itself romanticizes toxic relationships knowing they are lying to themselves as their crushes indulge their self-destructive tendencies. The amount of self-sacrificing is seen through rose-tinted glasses until the end - knowing they don't love you and are "rotten to the core" and even calling yourself out for pining over them with "empty eyes". Being able to look back on where I was when I first listened to this song compared to where I am now, I can see how awful those relationships were, but at the time I sure did think they were the most beautiful thing ever. Thanks Hole, and who knows maybe in another decade I'll view this song completely differently.
Her assaults on the industry are brilliant poetry. And never flinched from the price she would have to pay.
All the hells on there Harley Davidson's never ever go away
Underrated, deeply felt yet obscure love song, her last since then. On the other hand, All the Drugs almost worked and Nobody's Daughter has among the best songs about addiction.
My favorite song on this awesome CD. Never get tired of listening to this album.
This song is so beautiful I listen to it on repeat for like 30 mins.
This sounds like it's about a toxic relationship.
it is.
@@micnik3573 thanks lol i didnt know much about it at the time so i was just guessing
Just discovered this song a few weeks ago and I’m mad about all the years I wasted not listening to it.
*its a grEAt come to terms with song..?*
F YES!!!! Cuz Ill do anything and I ll take all the blame *blows a kiss to C,

Not only one of my all time fav HOLE songs, but, in my all time top 100 desert island must have playlists -- if that even makes sense lol
Great song. I’ve loved Hole since “Live Through This.” 1994, scary how time slips away.
Awesome Rise up
won't come back again
Hey little late
If CL wasn't CL, HOLE would've been huge with this album. BTW I love CL!
Jason Baldwin i've been saying this forever. If she wasn't who she is she would be given the success she deserves. She might be a little insane but that's what makes her and her music so true and raw.
I actually just saw something funny. I, of course loved Hole since POTI. Well, I married and had a daughter named Chloe. I didn't realize you were talking CL cuz I saw C HOLE which I then saw CHLOE! Pretty neat! 👀
Never ceases to amaze me how this song wasn't a major hit,at least us people who realise just how good it really is can feel lucky that it is a part of our lives.Thankyou Courtney
Couldn't agree more. This song is unreal. I can listen to it repeatedly, and it never gets old. What a brilliant composition.
@@kevincollins6566 *Courtney´s voice ( singin´ ) sometimes reminds me of ( the🔺now➖late ) Karen Carpenters*
It’s simply brilliant
This. Is. Perhaps. One. Of. The. Best. Songs. Ever. Written. So poignant. I can't listen to it without crying a little bit. Every time.
Spot on! I feel the exact same way. One of the most intense songs I've ever heard.
This album came out while I was in college. I was always disappointed this song never got airplay. Celebrity Skin is definitely the hook but this is the best song on the whole CD.
Its that shorus harmony, isnt it ? I get teary too lol
*chorus
I agree

Ha ha...really appropriately titled! Im so proud of him. I like the fact that he also shows "good sportsmanship"...he has so much confidence and bravado im sure he will go as far as he wants to take this. Good job, Marco!...be careful in there! ....Tio Steve :-)
