Yes, he plays smoothly but the melodic nature of the patterns is lost in the slurry flurry of notes played but not emphasized, similar to a person who speaks fast and monotone, without any pausing or inflection, volume changes for emphasis, etc.

german, can you help me to learn how to shred? I am an older player who has never done well at this skill, and I practice so much...
Learn your scales and scale patterns, arpeggios etc… start with some basic techniques and exercises then learn solos from classic rock music and expand on that. Hope this helps

Hi, these Letters stand for Tapping, Hammer-On and Pull-Off. This is a standard way to add articulations to the tablature. Hope this helps. Thank you
