I personally played the Latias because it’s an out to Budew with the item lock. The 3rd fire energy is debatable, I feel if you prize 1 when playing 2 your kind of in a tough spot as I usually find myself using 2 Regidrago VSTAR. Thanks for watching and thanks for your input ❤️

@Strategic_TCG I can see where you are coming from about prizing one but if you have superior it's usually fine because you can pull it back and extra grass. But great vid making these TCG videos will really help people get into the game and I think that's great.

Thanks for watching! I agree this may not be the best deck to invest in online or in real life with rotation happening in April. But in all honesty I just want to share what the best decks are right now. Rotation isn’t for another 2 months and I think too many players stress about rotation too early every year. Also I do mention at the end of the video how powerful this deck is in the expanded format, I know this format doesn’t see a lot of coverage at least at in person events and there isn’t a ranked system nor all cards for it have been added online yet, but expanded I think is a great format for new players too being able to play with older cards they may own. I’ll pin this comment as it is useful for new players who see this video. ❤️

@@T47ON well I mean depending on the situation you can Adventure bag for 2 tools and then ultra ball them away. Or even better still adventure bag for a forest seal stone to get secret box to then discard. Sorry I didn’t explain very well

These are some great suggestions. Unfortunately as of right now I can’t make these changes yet because TCG Live only supports expanded for Sun and Moon on. Completely excluding XY and BW cards. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching man! By TCG game I assume you mean the online version of the game PTCG Live? If so there have been a few changes since I uploaded this video. The in game economy system has changed. So the Charizard ex league battle deck now costs 1,250 crystals instead of 600 and you can only buy 4 at any one time in the in game shop. The max credits you can gain from a Charizard league battle deck is 2,650 credits if you have 4 copies of each card in the deck already. With this change to the economy, I would advise that you that you get a Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX League Battle Deck. For the same price(1,250 crystals/gems) you get a maximum of 4,100 credits to use for crafting cards. Again you can only buy 4 at any one time from the in game shop. Hey thanks for watching and great question! If I were you, I would buy 1 of the Charizard ex deck on TCGL(600 gems/crystals) you should then get some more credits to craft the Rotom V for 750 credits and/or any other cards you may need for this deck. If you have 1,200+ purple gems already then definitely buy multiple of Charizard ex league battle deck on the shop. Don’t bother buying the rotom V one from the shop, it’s not worth it. hey thanks for your comment! A) I uploaded this before Ceruledge ex was even printed/legal and B) its an evolution deck which dont typically do well especially if you want to attack first. C) Expanded isnt fully coded into the game yet so we are limited to sun and moon on cards only and there are many other cards before this set that would benefit both Volcarona V and Ceruledge ex

I’m not sure. I need more context. It could be that your opponent had a legacy energy attached to it. Which means that when it’s KO’d you take 1 less prize for the KO.
