    With new health system of APS, I just use grenade launcher on heavy - it burns through APS health quickly and starts dealing damage to players

    Just minor comment on the intro, people are really sleeping on the casual experience of this game. It’s excellent and perhaps some of the best. I understand liking to grind ranked, but it casual is soooooo much better

    The health of the turrets should definitely be cut in half. I’ve shot rpg’s at both and watched the thing live. Aps should be moved to the Heavy class as a specialization.

    this game mode would be great but the only thing is the weapons have to be stronger on the medium class and on the light class because they will get dominated by the heavy class. I think in general it was unnecessary to nerf the heavies recoil on the Lewis gun and nerfing the mediums rifles range and damage because I had so much fun getting into long range intense gun fights on top of Monaco's rooftops I really miss those days that's when I first started playing The Finals in early season 1😓

    I think gradian turret should be buffed and nerfed. It will have a slower fire rate to allow lights to cloak while being shot. But it also will reveal enemies that are being tracked by it like the tracking dart

      I somewhat agree, I think it doesn't see much play at all outside of powershift, the only time I see it in ranked is if the entire team is using turrets, and they are fighting with them so their dps actually becomes meaningful, otherwise most turrets to absolutely nothing all fight and are left to be cleaned up, I don't see tracking as that much of a buff anyways because you do get notified when your turret hits someone and because of its limited field of view you know where they are coming from. Personally I would like to see an increase in rotate speed and range, but perhaps a slight nerf to firing rate.

    I hate turrets but i had an enemy turret kill another enemy as they were getting a last second steal so we won so im okay with them in that instance only (funniest part is that both our teams were wiped and that turret fully won the game for us and it wasnt even on our team lmao

    i agree on everything except the guardian turret ,wee some of that. i only agree the part on pick up guardian turret what want it: you deploy guardian turret the specialization will not be charging at all and it will only charge when its either picked up or destroyed, depending on how much % HP left will be the cooldown %. but when you pick up thee turret and deploy again the penality will be reduced turret hp by 20% everytime you did it, reset when you die.

    Great idea, reminds me of the way aps on tanks works in battlefield, activated for 8 seconds then a 10 second cooldown, with a greenlight to show that its on and a red when its off.

    I believe your points can be good but they pertain to powershift more that comp. as a player who plays next to the turret I think having too long of a startup charge could reduce the flexibility of it

    Well does it make the game more fun or less fun? I want to shoot, I don't want to spam nades or get spammed without counters. So I think it's a good item. Is the problem what it seems? Snowballing will always happen because of skill and meta kits. And is the solution to buff a low skill and arguably an unfun strat? I don't think so. At the end of the day, the objective is a small, vulnerable platform. Players are gonna run defensive utility no matter what. The solution will have to come from making the objective reward less for playing defensively.

    i say mesh should really not be nurf again as for medi i agree with the idea but would like to add medi beam should not stack with it self 2 medis can at times make the 3rd player dam near immortal unless your 100% not missing a single bullet on them or team shooting them and thats if you can cuz 9 times out of 10 the target will be shooting back so you are not only force to not miss but also not get hit by them as they have 2 medis glude to there butt casual or rank this is just not fun to face specially if its 90% of what you run in too in lobbys.

    Banger videos! Your ability to identify problems and come up with solutions is truly impressive. While I often find myself disagreeing with some of the solutions (such as separating the balance between game modes), I really like how you thoroughly discuss your points and why. I hope more people can learn to look past what they disagree with and focus on the valuable insights behind why these changes are proposed. I watched all three of your videos and am looking forward to more!

    Players who stick together win => the meta of using team-supporting and proximity specs prevails. This kind of problem isn't something you solve through "balancing the stats", because this playstyle is already embedded deep in the game design. Team sticking together is the intended way to go - grouped enemies are difficult to take down (even with splash damage weapons), while lone players are at risk of being eliminated and not revived, putting their team at a great disadvantage. Support specs end up being the inevitable meta, and the only way to change it is to make the players disperse and leave them on their own a bit more, but then we would be taking about a different game (sadly, because the destruction model would be utilized a lot more if individual clashes and ambushes were any viable).

    There is a strange dilemma now - nerfing an annoying APS will worsen the problem of annoying grenade spam on the platform. Giving it limited shots sounds like a good idea, until you start to count how many grenades and explosives a five-member team brings in. In regards to the Guardian Turret, this spec is inflexible and almost exclusively defense-oriented. The high set up time is already a strong compensation for placing/replacing an automated gun. If I was to point a finger, I would say that Embark didn't plan for Power Shift right from the beginning. This game mode has a different meta and exploits that are considered secondary (in regards to balancing), as Cash Out is considered the prime game mode (it's the only one ranked, after all).

    For the APS I think that they should just make it so that you can glitch grenade it. It would make a small window of time where everyone could throw a grenade at the platform. What's good about this too is that it rewards team cooperation instead of discouraging it for the platform team like you said.

    Do what OW2 did recently where dps have a passive that reduces healing received when hit by a dps, for a few seconds. by 20% originally, this completely gutted mercy players, it was hilarious

    Look, if a team plays like that it’s totally defensive. In this game one of the biggest advantages is to get the first shot in. Target the healers, nobody is shooting at you .

    Let me know how the background music is this time. I swapped from the season 2 soundtracks to some lo-fi as suggested from people in the previous video. I also turned the music up a bit more for this video, I would rather have it too quiet than too loud.

      I don't think it was out of place at all - a lot of the OST is quite busy with a lot of dynamic range - this worked really well, volume wise was good too.

    you're basically complaining about playing against teams who play as teams and I'm not ok with that. if you're not playing as a team you will and should suffer against others who are. Nerfing weapons is not the answer especially when you already have the glitch grenade and mine
