sounds fantastic
Price
$400.00 Canadian dollars
Great jam.
Yeah, like that. I am happy I have 4 fingers though!
Sounds awesome. I bought a Yamaha FGX 800C about 6 months ago. Its a great playing and sounding guitar. The fretwork is unbelievable for the price. My only gripe is the the back of the neck was a bit rough/ raw feeling. I hit it with some 0000 wool and life is good.
They do sound amazing…✅
Very Zepplinesque. Cant remember the name of the tune though. Sounds great!
Nice sounding jam😊
Thanks for listening
Ok, You are ambidextrous! Nice axe, do you like the Gretsch or this better?
Gretsch feels better made.
Very nice. I have a 5422 on the way. What do you think of the current Gretsch line?
Very happy with the Gretsch ..
@@RobinSmithCGP Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. Keep on jamming!
I much enjoyed that tune.
I don't know how you came to my feed but I enjoy your style. Much like mine.
I appreciate that!
Sounds like Pete the E Townsend!
Yep, nice.
very nice review of the guitar
Thank you 🙏
Bought one - HAPPIIIII !!!!
Excellent…congratulations 🤠
Wow, Yamaha it up 👍
Oh yeah!
@@RobinSmithCGP I just recently discovered this line. I didn't know Yamaha was good withElectric guitars. I know their Acoustic guitars are Amazing. I just purchased the ll6 ARE Sunburst dreadnought. A beauty and plays very well. May have to look into one of these in the Future 😎👍
@@supercraig2009 the LL’s are great sounding guitars…the revstars are big fun …take one for a spin..
@@RobinSmithCGPWhen the funds are available. I'm just a Hobbyist, but is it worth the step up from the entry level Revstar to the mid level Rev?
I actually prefer the less expensive Revstar, it feels more responsive than the full bling one
Beautiful ax 😮
It is…not too expensive either 😀
Almico or ceramic pick ups
Good question..I was never able to find out…if anyone out there knows please chime in.
❤❤❤❤
Much thanks 😊
This is very relaxing
Much Thanks 🙏
Konten riview ampli seperti ini yang saya suka,😊
Thanks 🙏
Very nice 👌🏻
🙏🏻 thank you
Keep in mind this is a Boss MK1 head. The MK2 nails the EVH tone with the variation on brown mode.
True !
Nice looking. I dig the color.
Me too!
From my “who the F cares, who asked?” file… I bought the Affinity Telecaster at Guitar Center the first year they came out. I didn’t know a lot about guitar other than a few open and power chords… anyway I had a desire to put a red tort guard on it. So I took to a small mom and pop shop. Not only did I get the red tort guard but a full fret level, polish and crowning as well as set of “70s pickups” from the store owner who said “you only owe me for the pick guard, I just could let it leave my shop like that”. I got better at guitar, I have owned (and still own) many nice new and vintage guitars… but the only 2 I miss are that Affinity Telecaster and the pawn shop white Gibson Explorer my Dad (RIP Dad!) bought me when I was 11 that I traded for some crap guitar because I liked Nirvana and Explorers were “80s metal” in my mind 😂
Is Joni Mitchell says don’t know what you got till it’s gone. We all have a one that got away.
@@RobinSmithCGP indeed sir!
20:00 “not much of a singer” he says 😂 10x better than most! And great idea about the guitalele I think you’re right… Great jams ❤️ on this ominous Duende episode 👻!
I think the guitalele could work… thanks for the kind words and give love to Piggly Wiggly ..our Sponsor!❤️

7:09 minutes, Nothing beats a nylon for picking! Would love a video on how to tune them properly, I struggle 🙄
Yea ….they stretch forever and then finally…. they stop ….will think about that video…what nylon do you have?
@@RobinSmithCGP Not sure the brand, likely d’addario…two joms 🇲🇽
Ahhh yes Joms…🇲🇽….of course
Thanks for the shout out Uncle B! 3:18 seconds…still play that riff and remember you teaching it to me, too long ago! Much love xoxo Jade po and piggly
Hey …glad to hear that !..more shouts for Piggly❤️❤️❤️
Nice video 6 out of 5 stars!
A big Canadian….. Thanks eh!
Aren't you the guy that said they discontinued making the Katana go?
I am and they did!
It’s Geddy Lee!!! 🤓
I get that a lot…especially when I’m on the Danforth…
Katana go vs pod express vs tonex one?
There’s a video for ya!
Grabbed one it's going to be here on Friday.
Excellent…enjoy
@@RobinSmithCGPI appreciate the heads up. I already own the katana MKII so this was a no-brainer.
This is so weird of them. I just got mine. Hope they don’t leave us high and dry on updates and tone exchange. If so I would hesitate to ever buy something like this from them again.
It is very unusual..especially for Boss…but I do love that little Kat Go..
I just bought mine Friday with the carry case specifically because they discontinued it. It's great. I'm glad I scooped it up!
Good move…we’ll see what they do with it in the future…
Cant wait for this guitar. Got a sparkle blue one coming in from sweetwater...hurry up lol
Wow ..congratulations….enjoy and let us know how it turns out.
Yah I don’t know about all this “discontinued” talk! I’m expecting my replacement unit tomorrow 5/24 after returning the defective one I got a couple weeks ago. The rep at Zzounds said that he didn’t see any notes about any product recall or discontinuation. My 1st one would would only play when attached to USB power. Dead & not able to charge its onboard battery. Good luck everyone!🤙🏾😎🏝️ Update: Just received my replacement and I’m stoked! The tones out of this thing are addictive. I don’t even wanna play my regular rig lol! It also sounds really great plugged into my Headrush FRFR 108 powered speaker! Unreal!❤
I hope they get you a new one fast
Just got one in the mail yesterday and mines defective too. Battery charges to green light, but when I flick the power switch, it won’t turn on. I tried powering it on while it was plugged into the charger as well but it still wouldn’t turn on. Just emailed my Sweetwater rep to see about returning it and possibly getting a replacement for it.
I’ve heard this from a number of people…bummer !
@@RobinSmithCGPI just got my replacement unit yesterday and I LOVE it!!! 🥰
@@keokiheller4351… glad to hear it all worked out…rock on.
It would be an interesting marketing technique to announce a stop in production on such a popular item. Like when Fulltone went out of business and prices skyrocketed.
Fulltone ….great stuff…
does anyone know what the name is for the very first song he played in the video?
Riviera Paradise Stevie Ray
From Roland “"We are continuing to experience difficulty in sourcing parts for the KTN GO. As a result, we have taken the decision to make some fundamental changes to the design. As this process will take a minimum of six months, and because we are unable to confirm what the changes will be, we have also taken the decision to stop all promotion of the current model.”
i wonder if its because they didnt realise how popular it would be and cant keep up with the demand. bit like the playstation 5 when it first came out? I got mine today loving it
That appears to be the case and yes they are a blast to play.
Musicians Friend just told me that there has been NO DISCONTINUATION OF THE KATANA GO. Not sure who’s wrong here but from what I’m hearing the Katana Go is perfectly fine??!!
Interesting….
I just picked one up in a pawnshop and payed a little too much for it. A lot of rust including the strings. Thanks for posting. Wanted to know what it sounded like. Haven’t bought new strings yet.
I bet you’ll love it… let me know!
@@RobinSmithCGP bleh, need to replace the pick guard. Cracked and delaminating. It was somewhere “wet”. All the hardware (outside) is corroded. The pots were mucked up with sawdust. There was a fair amount in the body. I’m not impressed with the lack of craftsmanship. Extremely coarse routing that was painted over making for a bunch of “saw blades” if you reach down inside. A sharp chisel, rasp, and sandpaper made work of that. Any idea where I can find a pick guard replacement? I simply don’t have the tools to fashion my own. Cheers! Haven’t played it yet due to the corrosion. Pickups are in good shape though.
Damm …let me see if I can source a pick guard for you.
Anyone know if it's a saftey issue
Not something I ‘ve heard.Severe supply issues is the official word so far.
I hope they continue to support the app! We need that for a lot of the features!
I was thinking about that …😮
Best review, and there's no mystery cables, or mic to nowhere.
Thanks 🙏🏻
Can’t wait to get one of these. I didn’t like the Beach burst at first but it’s been growing on me. Thanks for demoing
You are welcome and enjoy your new guitar!
What is your amp ? Very good clean sound !
Boss katana amp
@@RobinSmithCGP Thanks ! 50 or 100 ?
That would be the 50 watt bad boy.
Highly underrated guitars
Those that have one love them! 😙
Thanks for this fantastic recording with settings. I think the Boss Katana Go is a big secret still. Everyone I know who gets one can't stop talking about how great it is. 🎸
You’re welcome Lukas …I agree with you..Boss has hit on their hands 🙌!Thanks for your input.
Gorgeous, how much, please..?
