I just installed a new starter a new battery an a new front drive shaft on my 06 liberty it wasn't that easy but I'm happy now

also im kind of confused. at 15:53 you say it was originally at 8lbs, but you're bringing it up to 18lbs after? could you explain why i need to increase it by 10lbs? thank you.

if only doing the rear pinion seal, do i need to remove the wheels and such? i dont se any need but wanna make sure

At 9:55 those are hidden behind the rubber flap on my jeep I can't even see those tabs.

I wouldn’t go to that extent changing it that many times unless the vehicle had 100,000 or more miles on it and never had the fluid or filter changed then I would do that and considering how expensive that might be I might use the royal purple max ATF or Castrol

The fluid didn’t look too bad. I would’ve just replaced the filter and topped off the transmission so it’s just slightly overall with that signature series. I see you have there if you had the CVT I would say do it every 40,000 miles or something and don’t switch back-and-forth on fluids. If Amsoil signature series doesn’t break your budget with a ridiculous membership and price gouging I would stick with it.

If you really want to exchange as much of the old fluid as possible by doing three flushes, wouldn’t it be much more effective to drive the car between each flush to circulate the fluid? Otherwise pockets of old fluid will remain static and not get flushed.

I think this would be a good time to change the wheel bearing also. But that's for a different video.

My Honda guy said too always change the crush washers, always.

Pro tip: after cracking loose oil filter, put a red Solo cup over it and pinch to unscrew filter to catch all the oil dripping

Thank you for this video; nice quality! HOWEVER, always grab the torque wrench from the handle they provide - it is not calibrated from the middle of the wrench - half way would be double the torque on the bolt when it "clicks." No big deal on a low torque cover bolt maybe, but if you are doing something critical like main bearing caps, heads, etc. you want to be more accurate than +/- 100%.

Per the service guide, before installing 2nd bolt on Driver Side, the oil pan bolt in the bolt hole located between the torque converter clutch on and U/D clutch pressure tap circuits, it will be necessary to replentish the sealing patch on the bolt using Mopar Lock & Seal Adhesive. Here you can use Loctite Threadlocker Blue or Permatex Medium Strength Threadlocker Blue.

Always change your transmission fluid and a little filter under the battery change your timing, chain or belt 5000 miles early and run iridium plugs if they last over 100,000 miles they look difficult to get to

I ordered the retainer clips on amazon and they look similar, but they dont have the two tabs to lock into the fender flare. Can you post the link to The retainer clips you bought?

Thank you for the detailed instructions. I'm wondering about the rotating torque required for the pinion nut. The 2005 Jeep KJ Service Manual says "Rotating torque should be equal to the reading recorded during removal plus an additional 0.56 N·m (5 in. lbs.)." Are you recommending 10 in. lbs.?
