Would you say pvsr is worth the 500-600$? Looks crisp and smooth and your gameplay makes it look 100x better
Ymmv For me personally the Beat Saber upgrade alone was worth it, but there's also been other really good stuff on there, Synapse is a great example

I wish they would’ve expanded more on concrete like let you turn people into concrete like Augustine does or even have a super move for concrete or be able to make your own concrete soldiers , there’s so much they could’ve done more with this power but sadly didn’t😞
It better be broken considering there is no karma bomb for this power

Glad to know you can get beat saber on ps5 I was worried bc I was getting a psvr 2 and I hope they fix the black corners that make it hard
Well, this is just PSVR using the adapter for the PS4 camera to let it work on PS5. I'm not sure how PSVR2 will handle backwards compatibility or if they'd need to release an official PSVR2 version of the game. Either way I'm hoping for better tracking that isn't as affected by the lighting in the room you're playing.

Yeah playing PSVR on PS5 is the way to go. Input lag on the PS5 for VR is about as good as the Oculus Quest while the PS4 is god awful for VR. I’m really glad I upgraded to PS5 so I actually can do most songs on expert+ besides Spin Eternally, Ghost, Angel Voices (because of the terrible mapping,) and Final Boss Chan.
Fortunately I only ever played VR on PS4 Pro so I never experienced any major issues. But it's still nice playing this on PS5. I really hope there's a proper PSVR2 upgrade for Beat Saber
For me my base PS4 couldn't even play the new OST properly. It was stuttering for some reason. I borrowed my friends ps5 hoping that would help and it did the trick.

@@aresdotexe Maybe. It plays all the other levels without stuttering. Only OST 5 is where it was unstable.
@@qwerty-bb8lb that's why I'd assume the new lighting. If I'm not mistaken they didn't touch the lighting model for old stages, just the new ones. Though have you tried playing the new songs on other level backdrops?

What If they added a karma system. To it and execute turned them to stone and the good karma takedown(I forgot what it was called I think subdue) puts stone handcuffs and covers their legs in stone

Yeah, I wasn't able to play the game for a while due to work and when I was able to get back into it I could tell how much slower I was. Glad I was able to get some of that speed and stamina back before these new songs dropped. I've had terrible luck with the motion tracking on PSVR lately though. Not sure if it's PS5 issues or lighting conditions.

I actually searched for this and found out that barely anyone likes concrete and that they think it is trash. In my opinion it is my most favourite out of them all it looks satisfying it is creative it is op at close range and the r1 ability fully maxed is awesome. I just wish they added a ability where you could trap people in rocks just like how augustine does, mathe that could've been the L1 ability rather than it just being an extra glide button but still idc because this ability is epic
I actually really liked concrete. It just had two crippling flaws and I don't understand why either weren't discussed for the power you have been chasing and you get for beating the entire game. Why was there no ultimate move for it? And why could you only absorb it from dead enemies? No reason for it to be any different than any other
You have the capability to assimilate it from adversaries due to the initial premise of the game, wherein Augustine bestowed upon the Department of Unified Protection (DUP) a portion of her concrete-based abilities, thereby enhancing their efficacy in apprehending conduits.

@@TSCGA I get that. But I don't need to absorb neon powers, data powers, or smoke powers from anyone else in the game. Once you obtain them from Fetch and the other two the first time you can absorb the power from the source. Yet for concrete for whatever reason it can only be from other people with concrete powers. I get from a gameplay reason why they did this but from a story perspective this doesn't make sense at all. Not to mention the lack of an ultimate attack. Literally just let us use the same snake we see the final boss use for one cinematic attack. The game is beaten at this point, what does it matter if it's too strong? Every other attack like this is an instant kill on non boss enemies anyways. They fucked up with the final power set in the game. Simple as that.
Hopefully a new infamous game comes out soon if this just got recommended to me

Literally has the power to control any form of stone. Requires soldiers to recharge instead of using the concrete around him.....
IIRC Concrete does recharge itself if you stand still on solid ground. Has been a while since I played, though

Sucks how concrete could have been the best power. It’s already super strong but is sooo underdeveloped. Like no karma bomb, subdue, and everything feels so rushed.
This game sorely needed a new game plus mode. Both for concrete to have a use after finishing the game and because the damn paper trail jackets don't unlock across the game as a whole.
Also, why didn’t we get paper as a power!?

@@Khttvt The power of paper was purely used for mobility, so it wouldn't work well as a power. We also saw wire in concept art, but it was only used from traps, so again, not suited for gameplay. The only one that had combat potential was glass, but by the time that DLC was planned to release, the game had already underperformed and it was cancelled alongside the wire.

The thing I dont get is that to restore concrete powers, you have to use the guards. Why? Theres concrete everywhere. Why not be able to restore them with the road or something.
I assume it's a balance thing, except you don't get concrete until you've beaten the game so balance doesn't matter anymore. Only other reason I could think of is if power drain has to be tied to specific objects in the environment
