Bei Neugeborenen kann man das Baby sowohl in der M-Position komplett in der Trage tragen oder auch wie im Video. Beides ist möglich.

She mentions at 1:30 that you can place a newborn with feet on the inside if it is so that it does not feel good with the leg width.

Is it safe to put the newborn's feet inside for the original version 2, as well? :)

Hi Sara. There is no need to open it up before washing it, but you definitely can do that. The important part is to take out the stabilizing board before washing and we do recommend using a washing bag, which is available on our website. Hope this helps. Br. Margret

I can’t make it work either! The legs can’t really spread that wide and there’s not really room for the legs and feet to be completely inside it. The adjustments aren’t enough to make it fit. Quite disappointed as I bought it specifically because it was marketed as being suitable for newborns.

@@ninasvanebruhn6010 i found out at the bottom is adjustable so the newborns legs have not the be that wide. In case at the the legs has ti be inside, they have to be in a frog position (google it)

The SleepCarrier does not limit the movement of the baby. We recommend that you of course also have bodily contact and change the position of the baby. There is nothing with the SleepCarrier recommending against this.
