It's sad that unlike how Katniss got to show on cameras her respect towards Rue's district after she died in the games, Reaper's respect for the other tributes had to get completely interrupted by Dr. Gaul when she announced the Panem Presidents' son died to his injuries from the arena bombing. The timing of that was so tragic, as it was Dr. Gaul's way of trying to convince the people of the Capitol that the tributes were nothing but enemies and shouldn't be sympathized with. Her hatred towards the Districts was actually worse than Snow's imo, although her psychotic tendencies obviously did rub off on him in later years.

I expected to hate this film, but the minute I saw the jabberwocky bit in the trailer, I thought - well, first, I knew what kind of ending was coming the minute she said "jabberwocky" - but I also thought "Okay, there's no way this is going to happen, but they're kinda giving Wren and Tamsin vibes" (if you've read Sweet and Bitter Magic and therefore get this reference, kudos) Next thing I knew, I'm shipping them SO hard and spending my free time looking at edits and fan art.
