Right across from this elevator, there used to be a glass car that went express to 18. It got removed 10+ years ago, but you can still see the shaft from the little lobby that is next to the parking garage. You can also see it’s shaft from outside

I don't even think there are that many private Gen3s in general in the DMV. the only ones I know of are in the fairfax corner apartments, but we'll probably see more with how many new builds are going up. we do know that one of the new construction retail elevators at fairfax corner will be a gen3 edge @150 fpm. the other will be a kone.
