Could I use this on an elbow joint? Or dies it have to b a straight pipe?
Why would you work past the hole on the first pass, and come back again.
Be better if turned water off to it first. Open a tap take pressure off it
Nice vid . Thanks
Is this any different to standard ptfe tape? I've got a leaky shower hose.
bamboo. tape very good. I've fumingg bunny lung deck from funk going by funk find drunk home going ec bamboo. love it. so much.
😂 why don’t you get ptfe tape , and wrap electricians tape afterwards, it slow down the leak , but it wouldn’t stop from leaking , same bullshit is here

Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeak! SWit music, swit video, you must be a dump swit head.
so that explains all that melted black gunk I found in the back of my freezer wall on the right side of the freezer coils. I was wondering where in the hell did all this melted gunk come from and how could it have melted on the freezer coils? Now I know, it must be the heat from the refrigerant that ended up melting this shit, and whatever genius put this stuff on must be a real idiot or just real lazy to do it this way rather than seal it up right. Honestly, this idea is the most dumbest thing I've seen to fix holes in copper pipes or holes in any kind of pipe for that matter. If there is pressure involved don't use this stuff, GET THE HOLE FIXED RIGHT, CAUSE THIS AIN'T A FIX AT ALL. THIS IS JUST LAZY AND SLOPPY. It's equivalent to using ductape to fix everything,........Yeah IT'S JUST FUCKING TACKY. If you consider yourself a professional and you use this stuff, then you are just one tacky, sloppy, lazy un-professional worker.
Good Tape, High Pressure Waterproof Self Adhesive Tape
It worked, clear generic silicone tape, on a leaking oil cooler line that has up to 65psi of hot oil in it. It was leaking 1 quart every 200 to 300 miles and now it's leaking none. 350 miles later of mountain, Interstate, and town driving. Used 2 hours of time (half was cleaning hose) and a $7 10' roll of silicone tape that I wanted to test. Took about 30" of clear tape to do one end of the hose while on the car. I prefer the clear as it allows me to see through it. I developed a technique to do it in tight space. Gave it 3 overlapping layers in a different pattern. Straight wrap, diagonal, then straight again. Any pattern works but important to have different seal points of different wrapping and do it as tight as you can, with space provided. Also important to squeeze and rub firmly on it to get each layer to fuse for 5 minutes or so before the next layer and the final layer. If it's higher than 65psi I would also place single double wrapped pieces directly over the leak, for extra strength material before the first layer of the 3 wraps. Or wrap it 4 times.
I had this woman one time and I would do everything except go right to
Try it on a garden hose
OMG God turn off the music
Why'd I not yet think to use 'cherry tape' for this?! Navy aviation maintenance uses this for wire repairs instead of electrical tape
I hate how these things assume leaks always appear in easily repairable areas such as this, lots of free space, no angles, just a straight clean pipe. In actuality these leaks would appear in joints and areas that curve.

WTF is all the noise ?? Ouch !
This stuff is pretty good in the right environment. But as others have mentioned if you're working on your back under a sink or a bath than it would be near impossible to wrap the tape around a pipe like that.
Is ka name kya ha g
Ya tape kha sa mala g or ktna ke mala ge
Easy when used on straight pipe! How about at pipe joints or an elbow?
Good idea but I don’t think it works. Coz I have tried it.
Great video Thanks !!!!!!!!!
Remove that dreadful music.......please.
can it be used on steam pipe (hot)? how high temperature can it stand?
Great deals of important information and the video is great. I am bookmarking it for future reference and consultation. Many thanks for sharing! 🙂
Has anyone fixed a toilet soil pipe leak with this tape. Are there any good youtube videos out there showing this?
Well....... I fixed the toilet OVERFLOW pipe (small leak) FOUR YEARS ago with similar silicone tape. Still perfectly fine. Soil pipe may be a different ball game though.
wtf is this ? are you serious ? is this the right way to fix a leak ?
Because nothing says quality job like tape
Especially if you can't AFFORD a quality job.
This video is dumb and this is bs
Would this work on a leaking gas pipe joint?
Gas? Crikey! Turn off, ventilate or get out, and call (in UK) 0800 111 999.
Noooooo!! I agree with Maurice here.
Used sm tonyte on hot copper pipe. Didnt work !!!

One can use rubber tape ...cheaper and works better. also you can use a hose clamp over it.
sir Please Your Contract No What price is
Thank you!
I have bought it. Tape is amazing but because of clearances issues, many many times it cannot be used. That's like in the infomercials, what they show it's the best of the situations. Reality is different, pipes seldom hang by themself with lots of room around it.
Super glue is more solid!!🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍
I think it's work in electrical tape???😅😂
l think super glue is better or Gorilla glue too!!!!🤣🤣🤣👍 👍
Who repair pipe like this if not for an emergency thing? But till must replace the pipe later. Don't think any insurance company will accept that kind of repair
Can I fix a pvc gas line that my dog chewed with this?!
You gotta be joking Randolph…..aren’t you?
The length of that one piece of tape kept growing and growing the more he wrapped it around the copper tubing.
Stretching
The guy missed the leak about 20 times! What an idiot.
What is the tape called?
What is the tapes name, How much it costs? And how long it will hold water leak without high pressure?
Dont do this fix your plumbing properly this is not proper fix.
iWhen you don't have nothing to "DO"is sad!!!🤣🤣🤣😊
