Also separating from your pack is usually a very bad idea but if you absolutely must, theres this invention called a table or chair that usually works and you would need it to hang the stupid 20$ clip anyways.
what if there is no stupide chair or table? maybe the table is full, and there is no space!!! clearly u are not an edc person!

Really bad company, they make special edition colors and then discontinue them so nobody can get them unless you buy from scalpers. Not to mention charging 20$+ for a carabiner with a hook that costs less than a dollar to make. Really anti-consumer.
I found a cheaper alternative to hero clip. It's called the 'S' hook. It's a piece of metal with rubber pad end tips. They come in different sizes. Then you can use a caribena to hang your item. 1 Euro for a set of 3 or 4.

This is so stupid, if people can’t work out how to use a clip then we might aswell go jump off a bridge...
HeroClips will be very useful, and fun to play with, among the group of disadvantaged children I volunteer with; three or four would be classed as mentally "slow". Do you how many apparently simple tasks there are that have to be taught to some people? A video tutorial like this is a good idea - and why not, doesn't hurt anyone to do it! - and it doesn't assume we're all above a minimum level of intelligence. See you at the bottom of the bridge :-)

Amazon USA for Medium and Mini. Amazon UK for Medium. As at time of writing - have just gone to their sites to check. The maximum load-bearing weight is printed on the HeroClip so look at the advert photos to confirm the size, as well as the text description.

It's just a pivoting s-hook with a carabiner on one end. Which doesn't really help. In every situation in this video you could have used a standard s-hook and for the motorcycle helmet you could use a regular carabiner. Sorry but I don't see any advantage to this over a standard s-hook. Make both ends carabiners and get it CE certified and you might have a product people will buy. Since I can easily find a pack of s-hooks and a couple carabiners at the dollar store or Walmart for around $5 you can't justify charging over $8. What is the retail on this? Not trying to be a jerk just trying to help you out :) If I come across a useful well designed product I'll probably buy it.
@WakandaForevar My point had nothing to do with versatility it has to do with finding simpler solutions for cheaper. Can you explain to me why anything would be different from the time I originally posted until now? You kind of haven't actually said anything.
