YOU SHOULD BE RELOADING (It's Really Easy With Satterlee Testing)
Переглядів 1512 роки тому
If you really want to get the most out of your rifle, you should be reloading. Now a days you can pick up the equipment to do it relatively cheap and easy. And with Satterlee testing you can do it very few steps. I use my Magnetospeed sporter with 10 shots to show how quick and easy it is to work up a pretty accurate load for a Browning X-bolt 6.5prc

How to mount Burris Fastfire 3 to Canik TP9 Elite Combat (and probably other TP9's)

When I tried to mount the Burris Fastfire 3 to a Canik TP9 Elite Combat. I wouldn't work with the supplied hardware. So by doing a little mind crunching, I think I've figured it out. Without having to purchase anything else. I think this will work with any Canik TP9 that has the plate for micro red dot sights.

Does this work as good as a plumb bob and flashlight?
I ruined a very good set of scope rings by adding loctite. Let it dry and harden first if you're going to use it. Otherwise it can act as a lubricant and you can over-tighten and strip it out. Just my 2pennies.
Just got my 407k but the screws that comes along with the red dot are weird sized. The one that is right with the diameter is too short to screw it, and the longer one that is the same lenght as the original one from Canik is too thin. What the hell happend? Ordered new screws with the proper size but now the "head" of the screw is too big to fit in the hole in red dot >,<
I bought those levels but didn't know how to use them. Thank you so much for taking the time to create such a great video.
I have the same Wheeler Level, but I disagree with using the small bubble on the turret! You are presuming that the reticle is set perfectly to the flat of the top turret. But you shouldn't! I like to hang a Plumb Bob a distance away from the rifle. You can then look through the scope and adjust the vertical of the reticle in the scope to the Plumb Bob Line which is true vertical.
Mooie video, bedankt!
What the name of the Steamlight light that works with the Canik Mete SFT?
I have the same issue with my SIG Sauer Romeo MSR. Turning the unit takes a dry hands and a very firm grip. This also means any illumination adjustments during operations involves a grip of frustration. I contacted SIG support but they offered no corrective actions and did not offer to replace the unit. Overall the performance of the red dot is great, it keeps zero, but I really dislike the work needed just to turn the unit on. When I'm participating in shooting competitions, some stages are well lit, others stages are low light, so quick adjustment of the dot illumination saves time. It powers up when I need it, holds zero and stay clear in various weather conditions. I like the SIG Sauer product line but I would re-engineer the friction rings on the illumination control.
Great video !!!
Any lubricant required?
you big puss ...really ? it's effing indestructible grow some forearm and hand muscles dude and just take the covers off ....learn to turn it off and on....uh...mine has lasted longer than my friends Romeo 5
When did you mount the bi-pods?
Bro I can’t get my light to seat that far back. 😮💨
Good video, Is it ok to clamp on too my A2 flash hider? My rail is 15 inches so I have no access to the barrel. Thanks William
Wouldnt make any difference. The one on the barrel is for reference since you are moving the rear from the rail to the turret.
Just threw mine in with your help. Thank you
Thanks for that detailed video. I’m wondering how difficult it would be to find a gunsmith who knows the AUG well enough to do this for me.
Thank you for the install process and thorough instructions. Best one I’ve seen. I’m confident now
Best channel intro music . 😊
Spoiler alert😂 optics fits directly to the slide, no plate needed. 😮
Should you or should you not torque the screws on the Holosun? Mine seem to back out if I don't???? Anyone?
Yoy should torque all optics to manufacture specs (ALL WAYS)
@@lastavocations9487 Thank you my friend. I kind of thought that. I bought a Fat Wrench a few years ago. Never used it and now I can't find the dang thing. I appreciate the reply.
Dont break a nail
My Romeo MSR just died on me, wasnt even shooting with it.
What version of Aug is this? The website said that you may need to remove some material from the housing
Nicely done!
The whites of my nails 😩💅
Mine just quit working. No dot won’t turn on even with new battery. I fired 2 shots and went off never to come back on again. Idk what to do or how to fix it
wanted to watch your video ...... but the music is annoying AF . good luck with your future endeavors .
My hijo San won’t fit in between the guards on the plastic mount
Definitely lot of help appreciated the vid brotha 💪🏼
I'm confused on the plate part. Where did you get the plates from?
They came with the gun.
@@lastavocations9487 Thanks. I figured it out after a bit. Mine didn't come with anything. The range didn't even give me the box. Got some folks help on Reddit for an aftermarket solution. Appreciate the reply though.
Great video! The thorough explanation and camerawork really helped me install my sear. Thank you so much!
Thank you for making it clear and easy
Excellent presentation and solid theory! Thanks for sharing!🙏💪
Really great info! One nit…some of us with poor hearing have a hard time discriminating your voice over the music.
4:58 “Lil tits” lmao
Thank you!
While you are correct in your assessment of the control to turn on and off it takes a sec to turn on and leave on until your ready to turn off. I haven’t had any issues to have the light come on or off and most importantly it holds zero it will get the job done. im hitting at 200yard with 3 inch groups which is combat effective
Which exact screw size is that
Sorry, I didn't measure them before I put them in.
Love the honest reviews and your concerns are all warranted as there are several pictures of the tripods fracturing due to the cast aluminum, as-well as the threads stripping as there aren't helicoils. The plastic clamps are garbage along with the bubble level being basically worthless. Sucks that even 200 can't get a solid bipod, even if it weighs the same. I'm debating on just getting some PVC pipes to replace the legs and then finding a cheap ball mount to replace the pivot design in it. No good way to replace the leg angle mechanism though as if that fails (as it is also cast), you are SOL. Their CS is spotty at best. Yet another reason to pinch your pennies and get a vortex as you are more or less paying for the amazing warranty.
What holster you running for that exact setup? I know the factory one will accept the optic but not the light. Appreciate any info
I have a local guy who makes most of my holsters for me. Got tired of trying to find them that match a setup. Typically, if you ask around the local gun stores, they know of someone who does a good job at making them to your spec.
Which optic will mount directly to the slide without a plate? I thought the 407/507k would mount directly without a plate?
If you get an answer to this let me know. I have a rival but thought the plate was mandatory
@@LamboFit yeah everything I’ve read says a plate is required because otherwise the mounting screws have to take all the recoil. I was hoping someone found an optic that fit tight enough into the cut to prevent that but it’s not looking that way.
Lmao it’s the best red dot on market for the money budget. This n the Romeo 5. Best. Better then holosun for under 200 both come on man everyone knows these are great bang for buck n holds.zero
Just because you own it and it matches your larping costume, doesn't mean it's the best.
@@lastavocations9487 not me brother the gun community as a whole. Try the Romeo 5 then for the money it’s very good n better then MSR.
i love this topic, 99.9% people watching this are not 'Kickin in doors and clearing rooms". Bottomline, this guy is super accurate and the recoil is non existent. In a pinch, you have this gun, you are gonna be able to hold your own. Its accurate AF... I love mine!
Just kill the torture music.
I wonder if you can modify the original sear to acheive the same results
My lord dude. Stop crying about everything!
I like your technique of lining the bubbles to a common side line instead of splitting the bubble on both lines. Smart!
Great instructional video!
Super god video
My dear fellow, let us not refer to AUG parts as plastic. Instead let us refer to them as "engineering grade polymer". It sound SO much more appropriate, wouldn't you agree. "Plastic" has such a low rent connotation. Cheers! Oh, and I thank you profusely for such a completely understandable video. I would prefer a bit more lighting though. Finally I do appreciate your action rod warning: "Goddamn, don't do it!" Bloody well said.
Plastic is plastic. You can french it up, however you want, but it's still plastic
