Great walkthrough it's very helpful! I found that with the CDROM version the Recorder works differently in this section: it's still trial and error to get the actual CDs to work or not, but you have to put the recorder in your hand before talking him and it will show a little animation of the recorder held up in his office recording. Then you have to talk to him, put it back in your hands and stop the recorder and play it back. It will play back his voice. It took me 10 times to get it to work right, otherwise you'll be stuck at the bank at a metal door before the laser scan. Again, you have to put the recorder in your hand and play it back while in the bank. When it works correctly, you see an animation of holding up the recorder to the metal bank door. Sometimes the CDs don't record and yeah I found trying again the next day worked.. Super convoluted puzzle, also I saw some people getting stuck on not being able to click the loot in the vault. You actually have to SEARCH from your INVENTORY screen to collect it like you said. It's very counter intuitive.

I always thought this intro was so scary! I can’t find or replicate the feeling that it gave me at the time. A mixture of Star Wars and Dune. The piano player at the bar. The human monkey creatures. It’s all so goddamn familiar I think I could scream

fantastic game and thanks for the video! Extremely obscure and glad to see it's on youtube. Graphics and sound are great for the time. But the inventory system was horrible, and I could never play far into the game.

I remember editing some saves with pc tools hex editor, adding some precious "FF FF" to make money faster xD Great memories.

CD-ROM versions rarely improved anything back then. They mostly added crappy interlaced video clips like in the beginning of this video. The original intro music is missing (maybe only on AMIGA). The new inventory FX are really cringe. The male voice dubbing over a female character is awful. Didn't watch everything but yeah the floppy version seems way better.

OH. MY. GOD. I have strong memories of playing this game as a kid. I never really knew what was going on (mainly I spent my time pickpocketing and trying to sell things back to their owners). I got as far as needing the deeds but never figured out the bank robbery. Thanks for a trip down memory lane!

Thank you for uploading this. I have always wanted to see the end to this game since I was a kid in the 90s. I replayed a few years ago and made it all the way until the very last door puzzle. But I never, ever understood what was needed to be done to unlock it. I never found a manual or hint or walkthrough of that part anywhere online. Can you please explain to me what you did or what you should be looking for to unlock it?

This is great! There's some really cool jazz piano on the help menu but getting all the music to run is hard to do in this game for some reason.
