Great info. Two and half years ago I got a gifted Carolina Dog and the blind veteran who had her was told she was a yellow shepherd lol😅... She howls and don't bark and her ears are always up and she is loyal as can be so I found this video long ago and found out what breed I had. Best rescue dog so loving and is friendly towards all cats but dislikes other dogs( she thinks like a huge housecat btw) favorite activity is going to stores as she's my support animal and the constant comment of she is a wolf or wild dog by her appearance... So her nickname is Ol Coyote!!!
Conquistadors caused horrible death and destruction. They brought small pox killing tens of millions of natives. Conquistadors were greedy murdering thieves.
Look out Okeechobee 96 years later Oct , 9th "24"
I had two 13 / 14 years Bow & Arrow. Got them from a southern breeder They alsi had new guinea singing dogs Miss them so much Esp hiking and fishing w them and my so There was an npr interview in the 90s the scientist was talking about how they fish by herding ..
People just don’t appreciate history like they should
It's Cairo
They are related to Australian & African Dingoes. Dingoes are canids, not canines - I had a Dingo for many years.

Narrative of an Expedition Through the Upper Mississippi River to Itasca Lake (1834).
i have two. i am weening them now. 4 weks old, and thet are not aggressive. They are adorable, and i am blessed to look after them. They have a language, feed me, pee pee and hold me. lol.
I was 9 almost 10 that year. We were visiting my stepdad before he was my stepdad as we lived in Hastings at the time. He lived somewhere near the old Walnut Jr High in a 3 story grey brick building. When we did finally move to GI in 82 we lived about a block from the Senior High on Lafayette Street near the Veterans Home.
How can you call them rebels as opposed to people fighting for their freedom. I guess the mindset continues think about it?
I lived on east Nebraska street when it hit. My wife and I decided to leave our house and go to my mom and dad's place. We spent the night there and drove home the next day. A lot of homes by our house were gone. Cars were tipped over all down the street. Our house had one wall bowed out.We had to replace roof, siding and a number of other things. Our big tree in the front yard was blown over and broke off.
UA-cam: I’llbehonest The Few
Not wiped out. We are still here.
With the addition of Spanish war dogs and herding dogs with a bit of greyhound and we have the Catahoula!!
My first two dogs were Chihuahuas. I found those baby boys in the trash. (I wasn’t even looking to adopt but my nearest shelter was full so mom decided having a pet would teach me responsibility.) They were the calmest and sweetest Chihuahua I’d ever known. Imagine my surprise when I learned that most are mean little b@$+@rd$! I was like, “You mean not ALL chihuahuas are calm and relaxed?”😆 🐕 🐕
😂same though except I thought they were always loud until got a little feller named Moonpie and he's a always sniffin'!
I can't imagine trying to eat my Chihuahua 😂😂 I picture it like trying to make a meal out of chicken ankles.
From this day on, Grand Island shuts down whenever a 20MPH wind blows though the city.
You're back!! 👏👏👏 I'm reading a book on the history of cuba, and omg the spanish were muy muy malo to the indigenous people. 😢
I have a problem with cultures who believe that sacrificing animals and people to gods is acceptable. Death solves nothing.
I took mine out tonight, and with him on a regular leash, not a retractable one, he caught himself a baby rabbit. I can't say 100% that he's an American Dingo, but he looks and acts like one, only he's bigger.
When you learn about their history it’s actually really fascinating and it makes me sad how people make such a joke of these dogs and act like they’re just terrible. Every chihuahua I’ve ever interacted with was very friendly and like any other dog. I’ve never owned one but I don’t have the aversion to them so many others have. I also get angry when people act like they’re deformed like pugs just because they’re small. Not only are they an ancient breed with a rich history but they have the longest lifespans of any dog breed. Again, have never owned one but would love to have one someday just because of the lifespan fact, also they’re just adorable!
My moms had a longhair Chihuahua, to me it felt like a energetic athletic Cat 🐈😆 and loves to cuddle
My favorite part is the Philly accent
Lucky an army of 100 dogs
Adorable little bundles of rage is so true tho 😂😅
I love my little man's ♥️ best wee dog for me I have a Chi personality disorder 😂
I doubt they resembled the apple headed, bug eyed, vicious little monsters running around today. American breeders just can’t leave anything ‘as is’ and have to ‘perfect’ it.
We've had two so far over the years lots of energy and personality very agile!
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH I HAVE SUCH A SPECIAL BREED AND I LOVE HIM SINCE HE WAS A PUPPY NOW HE IS A SENIOR ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Trying to imagine a feral pack of chihuahas attacking people's ankles before being chased away with a broom.
I have one🙂. She’s piebald with blue eyes. I’m northeast of Albany in rural Central Eastern, NY. Adopted her from a rescue when she was 8 mos. She just turned 2. I’ve had German Shepherd Dogs my whole life. Lost my last one in 2022. I adored her. Loved them all. Never wanted a diff breed. Then this little white blue eyed pup showed up. Honestly, she’s incredibly smart. I suspect she’s smarter than 3/4 of my last German Shepherd Dogs, & they were great dogs. Yuka (means “Bright Star” in Inuit) hears better than any dog I’ve ever had, seems to see much better at a distance (they’re said to be sighted dogs & I believe it). She has lightening reflexes, & is a born athlete. Lean and incredibly fast. Very strong prey drive. Friendly on walks, & when I have guests, but a white demon when delivery trucks & the mail truck shows up. Great watchdog! Loves making dens, killing her toys, playing ball a zillion times a day. She’s mouthy.. likes to chomp my hands, but she’s learned not to do it hard. Likes her space, but doesn’t want to be left home alone. Can be destructive, so I’ve curbed that and give her cardboard boxes to tear up, other toys to destroy. She also loves car rides. Lastly, it’s true they really do hate being left alone. If you don’t have a 2nd dog as a companion, & you work away from home, or are gone often, this isn’t the dog for you. I wish agree the AKC should stay outbid it. The reason these dogs are do healthy compared to so many purebreds is bc they have a large varied gene poolZ start selecting for stupid traits, like the AKC does, & you start winding up with health problems & shorter life spans
Well done⚓
I believe their closest canine relatives are a species from China! I have seen them all over including Siberia. If they originated in China, how did they get from central Asia to MesoAmerica? They were brought by wandering tribes, early warning system to guard against predators.
Great video👍
Something you said reminded me of my Grandfather, born in the 1890s (yes I'm old). One day my Aunt gave my Grandpa, a farmer, a tiny teacup size Chihuahua. He was shocked! he'd never seen such a little thing. He fell in love with that dog and carried her, we named her "Tinkerbell" in his pocket. He used to wear overalls and instead of his tobacco being in that pocket, he carried Tinkerbell. One Sunday at church, I was worried about Tinkerbell all alone on the farm. I asked him where did Tinkerbell stay when we were at church? He didn't say a word but opened his suit pocket and there she was!! HA!! Aww....Grandpa was a tough, gruff, grumpy old farmer but loved that tiny dog.
What a beautiful memory! 😊
Awesome video!. You just got a new subscriber.
Very interesting....Thanks for posting
I lived in Grand Island when this happened. I was 8, still remember the night. It was the only time I am my Mother get scared
My friend lived there too. She said she saw a horse running down her street. I will not type what she said was wrong with the horse.

Chihuahuas are RODENTS!
An awesome detailed history of Chihuahuas!!! I really enjoyed your video!❤
My grandpas friend’s daughter was the fatality you spoke of
Let's fill in some "necessary" blanks, shall we? Lol! The Feds did not like the fact that the conchers (Key West locals) were feeding and nourishing the refugees. So the people of Key West used the tool of de-popularizing the US Gov by spreading the word of the roadblock. The entire nation found out about the roadblock on US-1 southbound. And because the roadblock hurt business and tourism in the pocketbook, the Government openened up the roadblock. Hmmm. Hope this helps!
😂I was waiting for a boom
The previous videos were about consuming stimulants.
*Smiff.*
Hopefully, they can take that down sooner rather than later. American needs to open the waterways back up so the ocean can get the nutrients from the spring run off, and the salmon and steelhead can spawn.
Very interesting and good information..👍👍..
