Hello, this should be possible because everything outside of the castles main gate entrance is hiking trails. When I was there, we were one of the last people to leave and the bridge was still accessible to hang out on, and the gate entrance had closed there doors already. Yes they do have a gift area and it does get busy but there is tons of seating. If everything is taken though, you can ask other people if it’s okay to share a table with them. It’s totally normal to share tables there and most people will be friendly😊

I was born an raised in Wuppertal and so the Schwebebahn was no1 ride for me for like 20+ years! But to be honest: I don't like this city! That's why I moved to a different spot like 15 years ago! I don't say that it is a bad city, but not a place I want to live anymore! :-/ Living in the south of Germany now, I do miss the rain, though! Wuppertal is one of the cities with the most rain in general. I think it ranks no3 in whole europe, when it's about rain! That's where the jokes comes from: Wuppertal hangs their trains on a line to dry them! (or something like that! it's hard to translate jokes!). But I am happy if you liked it and had a good time! :-)

Never 🥲 but I have some friends from France and study French at Institute Français d’Indonésie, so I know a little about their cultures. Classic recommendation is Paris, but personally I’m in love with some cities in the west of France, like Colmar, Strasbourg, Nancy 🥰

If you are in Germany for much longer I recommend going to Kassel in hessen. The berg park is beautiful there.
