It's funny. Whenever I talked to people about riding through The Villages, they'd always bring up that rumor. So, I wanted to find out for sure. I guess where one stands on that rumor lets you know whether they've ever been there or not LOL. Have a great day.

I love the Navi. Super easy to ride, fun, no thinking, just riding :) I have not tried the ruckus yet.

yeah, that's true. Population growth in Florida may push some of that out as the city grows. Hard to tell. You couldn't tell crime levels from the ride, but I didn't venture far away from the small town's center. Thanks for watching!

Tidalmantim, Thank you for the kind words. As for getting from town to town, I have a pick-up truck that I use to transport me and my Navi to each one. One of the reasons I like the Navi is that it can go over 50 mph, if need be, but I don't like riding that fast on it. The Navi is technically a motorcycle, but I call it a scooter with an attitude LOL When I scope out where I'm going to ride in each town, I look to see if there are bike lanes on the road. That's a really good indicator that, for the most part, the speed limit should be slower, and it also gives you a lane to ride in if the traffic's busy or your don't feel comfortable on that section of road. Plus, I've recently learned that Google Maps has the option of creating rides that don't take the major roads, so, depending on the city, that can come in handy. I haven't used it yet, but am going to check it out. Most of my rides take about an hour or so to travel, but I try to keep the videos around 20 mins or less. So, I stick to the interesting areas either visually or historically to make the videos as fun as possible. It's good that you're cautious on the road. Safe riding out there!

So glad you got to enjoy the ride with me! It's always been a fantastic place to ride through. My dad used to play golf at Sunset Golf Course, which is now the Vinoy Golf Course on Snell Isle. It was great to revisit it for the channel. Are there any cool places to ride down in Manatee? I'm always looking to add to my "To Ride" list :)

Hey Christine... yes, you do need a motorcycle endorsement because it's just over the limit to qualify as a "motorcycle" - when, in reality, it's just a scooter with an attitude. :) I took the training at a harley-davidson dealership. It was funny learning to ride a harley just so I could ride a Navi. LOL Thanks for watching!
