My question is for GPA . So the seller is in USA and his name and wife name are in the property. He can’t come so he is planning to make GPA to his father in law. So can his father in law can be GPA or blood relation is required. Also as both wife and husband names are there so there will be two GPA? Pls reply

What will be tax treatment in case of a works contractor, where royalty is directly deducted from the gross bill value. The works contractor pays tax on the gross bill value which includes royalty. Tax is already discharged on forward charge basis. Can the Revenue on the scrutiny of the P&L Statement again demand that tax on reverse charge basis?

Sir someone had made fake complaint that we had not followed setbacks while constructing our house. I am an NRI, we are a party of 7 who have inherited a flat as our mother died intestate, 4 NRIs and 3 Residents. Should we transfer the flat to one of the Resident inheritors so that an easy sale can be done and then the proceeds can be equally distributed and then each one could pay the TDS, depending when he/she is a resident or NRI. As per my knowledge not only ancestral but property left behind by father which is known as property left intestate without any arrangement by means of Will,In such condition all legal heirs including daughters have equal rights .
