Network planner? The no. 3 service now operates with longer buses which are not suitable for some for roads previously served consequently leaving roads unserved or a restricted service ie: Dickson Road with a low catchment area instead of Claremont and Egerton Square and also The Spinney. The website stated at the time that the reason was to cover busy (?) journeys on the 3. Not true... the reason being the longer buses which previously operated on Lancashire County Council contract services from Fleetwood to Preston were too long for intermediate villages en route and so were swapped with the shorter buses on route 3. The result Blackpool residents inconvenienced for Lancashire County residents.

I worked for Blackpool Transport many years ago. In the first week I learnt the company motto “muddle through”. It was run by a management team that were a hapless and clueless bunch of amateurs and I suspect it still is.

This is just one of the three remaining iconic heritage trams left The other two are the Rocket & the frigate( battleship) or simply a warship I have never had the privalige to ride on any of these. I so wish to do so. So, please wherever you are please help in donating to help the loving restoration of this iconic tram & to help keep the other two running aswell. Who really cares about these new ones I CERTAINLY DON'T!!! like bloody small trains not trams. The lovelybold heritage trams was the only way to travel inspite of limited space for pushchairs & wheelchairs That couldn't travel due to the lack of space specially for wheelchairs. But, they still was the best way to travel along Blackpool's sea front. Right up to Fleetwood. Those very, very few that still run ( are working) only go to the TOWER or BISPHAM. from either STARR GATE or PLEASURE BEACH 👎👎👎😥😥😥😥😥 SO, SO VERY SAD!!! not to see them like we use to.

To be honest Alexander Dennis are great but old buses can be better as shitdecks are on the road one week and in the garage the next week

Here I drive to and from my job in a grey Silverado pick-up truck! I put it through a wash twice a year...because this colour hides the grime really well! lol So for these buses...the colour means low washing times too! lol

Why don't you try and make some of the Blackpool transport drivers happy with a smile, everyone of the drivers that I have seen are all miserable

The new Blackpool buses are in an unimpressive shade of grey. The new livery should have been a distinctive green and cream like the old front engined Leyland Titans of years ago.

I was there at the launch and what a fucking disgrace! "Alexandra Dennis"? "Euro 400"? That woman has never sat on a bus in her life. She has no idea what she's bought and she doesnt care. All that bull shit about a table being a social zone and the like. It's a fucking table love, get over yourself. It's all manager talk. The *Enviro400 has very unforgiving ride quality, and is not a high quality product. They bought the sluggish Diesel model with the cheapest gearbox option for just that reason, it's cheaper. The only good thing is she said in 5 years they'll of binned them before they have time to go wrong. Also the E leather seats, please just call it what it is. Cold when it's cold and hot when it's hot Sweaty sticky but easily wiped down seat - would of been more accurate.
