Excellent interview! The EP is stunning. First heard the chainsaws back at the start of the year on some random playlist of confirmed Krankenhaus '24 acts. Think they were track #2 and I rarely got any further in the list given I ended up with What Lucy Found Here on repeat. They sounded like nothing else and - as you do - you start digging on youtube and there was already a good number of uploaded live performances - all superb. Definitely were top of the list of acts to catch that soggy August weekend. (Saw you there again as well, you were a busy lad! Said hello while you were catching a well-earned breather at the t-shirt spot). Some brutal scheduling clashed them with plantoid the week after at Psychfest but caught them again headlining up here in Edinburgh for a full set - and they were just fantastic (they must have been knackered from all the touring, but still gave it full beans). Had a chance to say hello to them a few times and they are such a lovely bunch (either that or they struggled with the accent and were just being polite). Been quite a year for them and already anticipating next year's tour - momentum is building, and I've a feeling they are going to deservedly get huge. Good luck to them!
