No LiS surpases this one, it's a shame that they've lost track of what makes LiS a great game/story. (Yeah I know Dontnod wasn't the one making True Colors and Double Exposure, that's one more reason why they can't make a LiS like the first one again)

This track is sooooo absurdly good, It sets the mood/feeling of the game in such a perfect way that you can listen after years and say: "Yep, that's Layers of Fear", I always come back to listen again bc of how good It is, If you guys don't know @DAGames made a metal song about the game that is awesome too.

Played this game for the first time 3 weeks ago. I was only 10 when it came out back in 2015 and I’m 19 now but it gives me a very nostalgic feeling of my pre teen years and high school. This song gives me a feeling that I can’t really explain and makes me tear up. One of the best games I’ve ever played.

I was at a real dark place when this game came out. I'd sit in my room playing this song on the menu in repeat. It helped keep me alive. This game and song still has a place in my heart. I have a wife and kid now.

Does anyone not realise that at 0:44, it kind of sounds like Resolution by Jon Brien and Norman’s walk? It’s from the kids movie Paranorman. The build up is beautiful, there’s no way I wouldn’t recognise the build up fr.

Imagine this plays at 4-4 OT during the final pick phase ramping up into the crescendo at 2:30 when you load into prep phase and plays like the music did during the old seasons, into the end of prep phase. Would immediately raise the tensions and atmosphere of the game ten fold just like the plant music is designed to raise your heart rate and anxiety. Music is one of the strongest things you can use in media to set and amplify the mood, tension and atmosphere and it can be used perfectly for a game like siege like they did in the OG seasons.

It’s a shame they removed almost all the atmosphere from this game, in the older seasons loading into a match and the music crescendoingin the prep phase as you prepare for the chaos of an all out assault was what made this game so unique then, paired with the old lighting and destruction effects the moodiness and atmosphere of this game was unreal this track on Oregon specifically was so tension setting.
