great! Just wanna ask, I'm a beginner producer, where do u find your loops also, how can you find the root notes of the loop? If I wanna add bass/pad like you did.
best places for royalty-free loops are Splice, looperman, and buying packs from producers. once you start to get pretty good, you can network with other producers who send out loops - but make sure they're on a similar level - basically don't be hitting up Metro Boomin expecting him to respond lol.
for your second question, learn music theory. learn your major keys, natural minor keys, and how they relate to each other with the roman numeral system. I suggest learning them on piano unless you already know another instrument. hit me up on Instagram if you need anymore help - i also do 1-on-1 lessons - @asaamusic on IG
