    I got into Samurai because their culture was really cool and the armor is probably the coolest looking armor humans ever made in history. I'm sure it had nothing to do with Kurosawa films or anything, it was purely Samurai Jack and The Last Samurai...

    When I was like 8 or 10 there would be Bakugans, Beiblade, Dragon ball Z and Avatar Air bender episodes airing at different times and I used to time it, so I could watch them all . I was a big Bakugan and Beiblade fan. Slowly those shows got replaced by indian/muslim dramas and other shows and I stopped watching them. And then when I was 14 or so I found one punch man and a bunch more and just binged a lot of new anime. The only one anime or cartoon I finished from childhood was Avatar series together with Korra.

    Don't bother, like, including any context in the clip or anything. It's fine. There's nothing to be gained from hearing, for instance, what anime they were talking about or why they think the ending was shocking and memorable, but not good.

    • @toromisher

    I would argue that the best endings are memorable. Something has to be revealed that ends the storyline and if you already know that what’s the point?

    • @fedweezy4976
      @fedweezy4976 3 місяці тому

      Idk, I feel like an ending should be able to be expected towards the end of a narrative. It should be the payoff of all that came before, it can have a twist, but that twist needs to be set up or the ending will just fall flat

    • @bigbaby1356
      @bigbaby1356 3 місяці тому

      i mean, if a romance film just kills the heroine as they usually do, you mostly remember it because of the shock factor but that doesn't mean its a good ending. it think thats what they mean.

    • @clochard4074
      @clochard4074 3 місяці тому

      Nah, if that was the case you could pull off any bullshit and it would work. Also we are able to enjoy a good story even when we already know how it ends: you surely saw your favorite movie more than once.

    In any language learning, watching media in that language helps bc it gives the brain easy to remember associations with words spoken and context of using them + pronunciation. Anime, tv shows, children cartoon, you can watch ads or corn, it doesn't matter as long as it makes you remember and gives context. You'll still need to learn proper grammar along with it for the best results, but media is a great tool of learning.

    Anime is just japanese for animation or cartoon. Older disney movies pulled me in and shows like cowboy bebop, Yu-Gi-Oh and Dragonball were my childhood, also courage the cowardly dog, robot chicken, south park and teen titans.
