This was helpful. I like singles but doubles seems so overwhelming

Protect is singles. Rarely useful. Good for stalling. Protect in doubles: Casually breaks the game
I’ve been playing since day 1. I’m not even half way through the video and it’s been very enlightening. The BB academy doubles are giving me trouble so that’s why I’m here.
Thank you so much for the information! You have brought up some points that I am excited to dig into. I have been thinking about trying loaner teams seems like a good place to start.
this'll come in handy for the indigo disk's double battles
ive been playing pokemon since red and blue and ive told myself that im a pokemon master and the game is too easy. i started playing competitive this gen9 and i realized that ive been living a lie. I do not know how to play the game at all. competitive, especially doubles is insanely addictive and fun. the importance of stats changed is so imperative and it blew my mind. ive always believed that the NPCs are stupid wasting a turn either buffing or nerfing stats when they can just go for super effective moves. im glad i started playing competitive and learn the mechanics of IV and EV training and team building. im currently ranked 289 masterball league in Reg D
nice
Thank you for making this, subbed!
Damn Mr Sus, I didn't even realize this was you until I finished It. Great video! Hope you make more
Doubles goes way over my head. There are a whole array of pokemon, items, abilities, and moves especially that are good in doubles but not singles. The games don't prepare players for even the bare basics of doubles. It's not newcomer friendly in the slightest.
I like doubles because you can use pretty much any pokemon you want (atleast in doubles OU) and it wont be all useless, for example, Regigigas ability can be supressed by any move like skill swap, entrainment, or gastro acid, making that it can use its full potential from the start
doubles makes this game with almost endless of strategies and combos. certainly alot of mind games happening even in team building
Yo, this video was so good. Really helpful, just the kind of basic fundamental stuff I was looking for. I feel like the game makes a lot more sense in general now. Edit: dude, what. You only made two videos?! Dang man, that's too bad. You're really good at this.
Wow
Wait but you can’t mega evolve in sun and moon so how does the mega gengar work with the dragon type?
2 years late but for only 600-700 likes this video has amazing quality.
After watching this video, I created a variant of the Tapu lele/Driffblim using Rillaboom (grassy surge) and Grassy seed instead.
and when the world needed him the most, he vanished
I m starting to really understand the concept of double battles great video professor I really needed to see this .
I love the steady, concise way you explain things. This video was perfect for my current skill level. I have logged a few hours in singles and I’m looking to get into doubles because it does seem there is more strategy and tactics! Good stuff man👌🏽
Thank you mr professor Matt sir
That is y people bring haze
This is great tutorial video for those who want to start and get introduced with doubles battle as it is very fun and competitive
Gonna do anymore vids? Found this really helpful!
I've been battling pokemon for 13 years and i never liked doubles but,im looking to get into it.This is kinda interesting.
Does anybody stillz play Pokémon platinum diamond or pearl... I’m looking for a friend to play with, you knoz, link upp, battle an trade 🤷🏽♂️⁉️🤔👀 I’m in Atlanta ga
I do still play does games
Best tactic theory video I’ve seen. I enjoy the broad strategy on a doubles approach and lack of distraction by delving too deep into a Pokémon/move and tangents. Awesome!

Great guide! Super clear and the examples and images realy helped!
I use hazards in 6v6 showdown doubles cause no one prepares for them
How high are you on the ladder?
@@icymiles I played doubles in gen 7 but don't play gen 8 doubles
Thank you for explaining what stab is, I wanted to know that for a couple years.
God why does this have to be so complicated
Toxapex pretty popular these days in SWSH.
Would love to see an updated video for sword and shield :D
I just started getting into Pokemon competitively with some pre made teams and I want to build my own. I read a lot online about different "cores" like a fire water grass core and a steal fairy dragon core. i don't know if this concept is mainly for singles or if it can be applied to doubles and how it would be applied differently
Thank you
this was an awesome video thank you !
Thank you so much! I've never been so excited about doubles!
excellent help bro. i pretty much did all the wrong u listed so now its time to shape up
Wheres part 3?
Thanks your 2 videos explained everything in detail while still making it easy to understand, when are you gonna make more videos?
Lo busque en español y me sale esto, bueno al menos aprendere algo de ingles para poder ver el video, Codigo Vegetta777 en la tienda de fornite... En los subtitulos aparece Kappa Lele XD
I want to start playing Pokemon competitively but I have no idea how to do it I told someone who use to stream on Twitch that I wanted to try competitive Pokemon and they helped me to build a competitive team but I don't really know how to use it I hope to learn to play the VGC and maybe someday make it to worlds
Thanks for the video man!!! I'm trying to start playing competitive
Really good and clear information, I bean out of vgc since x and y, and trying to get back for the sword and shield, keep the good work!
Can I try to battle you if you have sun and moon games?
Please make more videos! :)
These videos are great but where’s the rest of the series?
