Ways amazes me how Keith Hackett is seen these days as an oracle on correct refereeing. None of this nonsense we see game in game out was apparent before the PGMOL was created. He headed up that organisation. For me it started on his watch

Hackett was in my opinion a terrible referee. Had a nice big head. He had his favourites, something you must never have as a referee. Made up laws as he went along.

For me we missed Schar, Hall should have started with Tripps. I'd like to see Willock in for Longstaff and Gordon and Barnes on the wings. Tactics and formation were wrong, Krafth & Burn don't play out from the back the way Schar, Hall or Tripps do, our defence was just long balls, atrocious. I am genuinely worried how some players only seem capable of playing at SJP, relying on the fans for motivation. Kelly is not a LB, said needed height and pace as the reason. We have to move on from Guehi and get Mitchell in the market for some gems that will come good. We have time with Schar, we need a RW, we need a CDM & RCB.

Liv reserve keeper Kelleher is good with his feet, i don't know why we don't try sign him, they are after Marmadashvili & his contract runs out at the end of the season, he is 25.

Looking at Guehi and his match programme notes on today’s game (Newcastle World) It doesn’t fill me with confidence that we’ll get him, or, if he really wants to com to the Toon?????

Looks like Minteh is going to be a real gem, pity the powers that be couldn't have offloaded some others and he would have been our rw sorted.

Another cracking show guys, had to catch it in bits and pieces but got through it eventually.
