MCCID is conceptualized on the belief that every deaf individual is capable of doing jobs that hearing people do and that his handicap is not a hindrance to attaining what is required in working in any type of environment.
The principal aim of MCCID is to assist the deaf and hard-of-hearing people in getting a better chance to compete in employment, education, and other opportunities like every other citizen.
A society that respects the rights of every citizen makes the world a better place to live in.
We have a lot of things to teach the deaf about sentence structure, proper ethics, and speech control. But they have much to teach us about patience, integrity, loyally, and good life.
At MCCID, we foresee a future wherein the deaf can co-exist with the hearing without any discrimination nor communication barrier.

As part of their requirements in the Philippine Laws subject, our deaf students created this 9-minute short film about the mother leaving her infant to escape the danger inflicted by her partner. Dapat hindi na binago ang asl ng pilipino kc lalo lng lng malilito especially yung mga biggeners. Pero english din nmn ginagamit sa pilipino kya lalo lng pinahirapan ang mga may hard of hearing na mga bata.
Good day, po! I believe you are a bit confused about this. The word Filipino in Filipino Sign Language here refers to the FILIPINO PEOPLE, particularly the Filipino Deaf. It is not the Filipino language, Tagalog Language, or Cebuano Language. If you use American Sign Language as a basis. American here refers to AMERICAN PEOPLE, not their English language. Alam nyo po ba na roughly 60% of FSL signs are from ASL? The rest are native signs or related to Filipino culture.
