Why does everyone recommend having dry cleaners crease your uniforms? I have been to four highly rated dry cleaners right outside of Navy bases and every single one of them fucked up my creases and it took me hours to get them out just for me to have to start all over. Just do it right yourself, nobody else cares about your appearance as much as you.

Sgtmjr, thank Goodness for your tutorial. My young Marine missed his opportunity for a Dry cleaner and couldn't wait. Here's where Dad comes in and saves his sorry ass! I have been pressing my own clothes thanks too my Marine father who raised me Military Style. However,not being in the Service myself, I know I lacked what Reg is. You definitely filled the gaps. Question..my sons blouse for the young marines came with the white spots from buttons on pocket of right side. I scrubbed with brush to remove.. any tricks?

Rah SGTMAJ, I have a question, for starching and pressing the dress blue trousers. Are you able to follow the same process as the service trousers, or because it is a lighter color should I avoid using starch and go with distilled water and press?

A junior marine. Just messed up one of my pleats on my shirt and was so upset your video is helpful

We use to use a cover block on the cover which kept the cover in shape to apply liquid starch with a brush and let it dry overnight. Utilities were starched at the base cleaners and had sharp sleeve edges. Great video, enjoyed it. It brought back memories of my time in the Corps. Semper Fi 74-78

Hello Sergeant Major, I want to be a Marine Officer, more specifically a pilot. I will obviously have to go to college, I've got a real good deal with my current college where I am working on my A.A. degree while in high school through the dual enrollment program. My current college has a partnership with one of the bigger state universities where if I compete my A.A. degree with the state college, I am guaranteed admission in the university. The university only has Air Force and Army ROTC but the have the Semper Fi society which I will do more research on. I want to do a medical related major, and with me also wanting to be a pilot, I was thinking I could get a masters in aeronautical science. I do not know exactly what the deal is with the Corps and education assistance, I know they will pay for schooling but would they pay for prior semesters? I am also working on applying to the Naval Academy but it seems like a long shot. Do you have any advice sir? Thank you for all of your service and sacrifice, SEMPER FI!

Where did you get the USMC dress greens I have and USMC drill Sargents hat that my dad brought home when he was in the marines.

What's the best Stratch do you use ? I use regular brand any advice for someone who is just learning how to press service uniforms I want to offer and ironing service for my local law enforcement department in my hometown and I'm not experienced on this basis for how to press service uniforms do you use heavy duty starch or light starch which is the best I'm still unsure what to use Oorah.
