It damaged the threads on the bolt in this video. Is that good?
Nope………also, you would never have to do both sides of the nut. Once it snaps one side the bolt will, usually, sliiiiide right out, or just loosen as usual…..
Not good, but inevitable. Later go over the threads with an external thread cutter, if necessary.

Good luck finding these. Apparently they sold out to Enerpac. Enerpac doesn't offer this item, because they have their own nut cutters/splitters.
