Beautiful
Mandela was also so gracious to shake Ted’s hands … So many years have passed since I watched this, am still watching it 😊
He really was paralysed LOL
An icon to behold
Mandela unjustly spent 27 years in prison for fighting apartheid. Gaddafi got tortured to death by NATO backed rebels. Fidel Castro faced assassination attempt by CIA some 600 times. Yet none of these men faltered in their conviction all the way to the end of their lives, knowing the risk they had to endure fighting against the tyrants that rule this world.
Boy ICJ needs to prosecute Mandela for committing war crimes on this dude 😂
That’s the original IDK!!! 😂😂😂😂 if I have paralysed you!!! 💚👊🏾🤡
Koppel has nothing to say
African wisdom exists.
"Why are you so keen that I should involve myself in the internal affairs of Cuba 🇨🇺 and Libya 🇱🇾...."
Ted Koppel was a corporate media tool and I do not miss him on news. Really glad to live in the internet age where I don't have to rely on Koppel and corporate news to get information
Thank God for the internet. Now they can't censor anything. We get the truth from unfiltered unpoisoned content. We can talk amongst ourselves now.
My great-great-great grandpa!!!!
A voice. A hero. A legend. We need more. We are dying. But as legendary as this was. They did what they were planning. They killed millions. And koppel smiled while the ear monger was in his ear
I have watched this clip for tooooo many times.Mandela was so soon calm and collective. He is a unique person
I'm watching this since 1990 when I was 6 when Mandela came out and I saw him live. He was a giant. He was always the tallest person in the room.
Mandela your smile reveal you if it hasnt before... Explain the money? Show your bank account instead of BS. Corruption is insane...
Oh unfortunately he has died. Yeah last month. U didn't hear?
Viva United south africa Viva!
Viva comrade
This was lethal 🤣🤣🤣 his brain lost network
It's another case of the classic double standards and hypocrisy of the United States of America.
I'm no musical expert but that voice has great potential.
Mr bean of south Africa 😂😂😂
Uyanya wena slima sabelungu. Wtf are you saying. U think ur funny
👂👀 Earpiece inner peace.
Great great great great leader
So what was the point? Mandela refused to become involved in Black American problems?
No the point is he was corrupt by US..no secret.
@@therappats946the point flew over your head
The best!!!
dave chappelle is truly amazing, he looks and sounds exactly like him.
A masterclass for interviewer and audience, delivered by Nelson Mandela.
Nelson Mandela taught us all how to wisely engage political disputes and how not to be drawn into fruitless and destructive conflicts are
African True LEADER!!
Madiba was a boss..,
Use of Marxian dialectics is easy, intent and action is a better indicator
Mandala suffered 27 years he doesn’t need to answer.
journalists want to be on top, the only mistake if they encounter someone beyond the mystery!
The sad part about this for Ted is that he was basically used as the whipping boy for all the questions designed to try to undermine and intimidate Nelson. Obviously one can see that he failed miserably.
I watch this whole interview all of Mandelas answer was so powerful and straight to the issue and was so clear to his stand a traights of a true leader Respect to Mr.Mandela a true leader one of a kind human being ❤
🐐
I know Mandela from his book Long Walk to Freedom 💕🌹
I live in the location of the book. Orlando, Soweto, Johannesburg 🇿🇦 Pres. Mandela was my neighbor. Him and Trevor Noah same radius. It's amazing to see the houses that are mentioned in the book in real time because they do mention the house numbers as well.
@@SibusisoHlophe-dp5lq Thats great. wish someday i visit South Africa to see that area and houses
#MANDELA ❤️❤️❤️
Great man indeed
Simple & clear libya ,& cuba, helped south Africa when he was in prison he has no issue to get involved in foreign states internal matters. They need to fix community problems for there countries just like south Africa has done & stop being racist to each other to built better countries for better world.
✌👏👏👏👏👍🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ted Koppel had to cut to a break so that some of his handlers could come up with a response LOL. I was never a supporter of the ANC or Nelson Mandela but I have to hand it to him he did paralyze Ted Koppel.
At the time, who were you a supporter of if you don't mind me asking?
NP
He sounds like thunder
..damn it feels good to be a gangster...*enter sun glasses, chain and spliff* 🤣🤣🤣
Crowd is fully involved in this lool. Like a boxing match
Mike Tyson vs Butternut
This man is Legand and hero and Lider
Owned! 😌😌😌😌😌
Tata madiba .. Lala ngoxolo numzani Rolihlahla Mandela
That dude.
I never understood why there were considered opponents. Wasn't Koppel just doing a basically benevolent interview?
Well, it did get a tad sharp at times
Koppel has stated many times that it was just a misunderstanding as to whose turn it was to speak. "I expect you to be consistent" and then looking away from Koppel. Mandela must take a bit of the blame for the misunderstanding.
I've always understood it to be a misunderstanding, too. The greatness lies in Mandela, having apparently skewered his opponent to the laughter of the crowd, accepts Kopel's response with a smile and a handshake, deliberately re-leveling the playing field.
Mandela didn’t make a point or came to any proper conclusion in his slightly condescending remark, Koppel was waiting for him to finish..
@@dayofthelord4343you mean paralyzed. Nice way to put it
