Planting with 5 gallon buckets
Переглядів 4,8 тис.11 років тому
I was tired of lousy soil, lots of prep work, and weeding. So I'm trying 5 gallon buckets this year. I planted 12 5 gallon buckets. Each one has a tomato plant which is growing out of the bottom of the bucket, with another plant growing in the top of the bucket.

HOW we help orphans and widows
Переглядів 24111 років тому
Our new ministry is H.O.W. helping orphans and widows. We give 2 chickens to a widow. She eats one egg and gives us the other egg, and we feed school children. HOW simple is that? Want to buy a widow a chicken? Watch this short video.

Sharing the Gospel of love
Переглядів 14211 років тому
I was the last of 6 speakers. Our message was basically broken up into various parts which included the grace and mercy of God, the need for Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, the forgiveness of sin through the blood of Christ, and the never ending mercy of God. I spoke of the need to love one another because God is love, and that we need to let the Holy Spirit convict us of sin, not one anot...

A day in the life at the Sgro house...
This video was made right before I met you! And now all these years later it's helping me learn it. Thank you sir
Great Performance 🏆
Wow I remember when I was there it was awesome
The first thought that passes thru my mind when I watched this clip was "classy", the form was beautifully executed and the music fit the clip very nicely.
Thank you for your kind words...
First time I've seen this Hyung. Thank you for posting. I couldn't help but notice there are no front stances used in this Hyung, but rather Sa Ko Rip stances. Was that always the case?
Yes, in fact "So Jin" is the Japanese pronunciation of "Sa Ko Rip". It is called the "immovable stance", There are no front stances in the Hyung. Great observation. This Hyung is listed one of the 4 written Hyungs in the back of the Soo Bahk Do Dae Gham.
This is his version of Shotokan's Sochin kata. ua-cam.com/video/YY9Zd53C_QA/v-deo.html

Im coming on sunday
May I ask, what song is this?
Im sorry for the delay in answering this, I just saw the question. I don't remember which song it is exactly, it is form Tom Cruise, Last Samurai.
Hello all, well it was fun, but bottom line is I think 5ht 5 gallon bucket idea can support only 1 major plant. I found one did well (either top or bottom) and the second plant struggled. I will try it again this year with tomatoes on the bottom and some herbs (garlic, basil, oregano, etc on top). I think (hope) this may work as the herbs and spices are much smaller than peppers and squash.
Hi folks, honestly it was "hit and miss". Some of the tomatoes did well, some did not, and the same for the veggies on top. And I ended up missing the 2014 season, so I'll be trying this again this year, I will be trying it indoors.
i think we need an update, before we try this. please
Excellent video and Food For Thought :) I'm assuming the tomato would get wet with the drainage water? If so, that would spell fungal disaster in my sub-tropical climate..
Thanks for sharing, I'd never thought of planting a tomato, and a pepper plant in the same bucket. I will try this
yea i love this shit when i go over there for christmas
How are your tomatoes doing?
Please note; the word teacher (or any word in Hangul) is not Spl It In To Syl Lab Les And Ca Pit Al Ized. The correct way is kyosa, a title is ALWAYS AFTER the person's name, without -nim if referring to one's self as it is rude. I am not a kyosanim in NKMAA Kong Shin Bup. I am a kyosa (or songsaeng (standard Korean word for teacher)). Not also, Sabom in a different word than the correct sabum. Take dobok. People spell and pronounce as doebuck. Look it up. Dobuck means gambling while doeboek means uniform.
"Our" people! lol. I am part chapin (in my heart)!
awesome!!! thanks for helping my people
good
This video is very emotionality! Santo Domingo is my town and ended up in this video by causality. I am really impressed and same time happy to see my people smiling with your noble charity. Many thanks for time you spent with them.
Not bad
The second book is a picture book. The first book has errors in it. The first book came out before "Century Martial Arts" and the internet. The explosion of the martial arts and the vast amount of info we now how is amazing. At the time it was a great resource, but now it's pretty archaic. But there is enough online to provide a resource to train with. For example, my student does a pretty solid version of So Jin in this video, so you can supplement your training with videos such as this.
Hello drewnut. If you look at Kwan Jang Nim Hwang Kee's 1st book he lists all the TSD Hyungs and So Jin is listed. It might be listed as "So Chin" though, but same thing. Where do you train in TSD? Tang Soo! David Sgro sktsd dot com
I knew this was a tang soo do form! I was taught this form in Shotokan and I now train in tang soo do but no one has ever heard of this form where im from
Tang soo do forms are shotokan
Tang Soo Do is Koreanized Shotokan and gets 99% of its forms from Shotokan. As far as I know only one or two Tang Soo Do organizations include this form.
Very nice!
awesome excellent video!
Why does it look like shotokan? No disrespect. I love taekwondo and other korean arts.
yeah, in my country Christmas is awesome , viva Guatemala....
lol, yes an awesome day!
This video brought back great memories for me! What a great day! (Besides Spencer and our students getting lost on the trail.)
Gavin....like Gavin "jalapeno on a stick" Gavin! How are you! Hope all is well!
Amazing video. I love it
Glad you liked it! We are now sightseeing in Antigua and it's a perfect day. It's sunny and breezy, but not hot. The team is exchanging in their dollars to go to McDonalds! It was a great week with a fantastic team!
It's amazing bro.
The whole team involved was humbled and blessed. Xenacoj and the little pueblo of San Antonio will always be in our hearts.
the problem is that I am not in xenacoj now am a little far
Hey MONJETRISTE74! Thanks for your kind words! We live here in Xenacoj and love living here very much. In fact, I'm writing you from Xenacoj now. Where in the US are you? I travel back and forth quite a bit to raise funds and support to live as a Missionary here. Talk to you soon! Thanks, Dave goministries.info
Do you live in Xenacoj now? If so, come to our feeding program on Sat. It would be nice to meet other people form Xenacoj!
I'm from santo domingo xenacoj
It is where I live. These are my neighbors. These are my friends. Our family now considers ourself part of the community, which also makes then our people! You are welcome! Where in Guatemala are you from?!?
THANK YOU FOR HELPING MY PEOPLE
Hi MrQUEXEL, thanks for the e-mail. Do you live in Xenacoj? If so I'd like to get a chance to meet you. Few speak English in Xenacoj. There are times we need translators and it's also great to meet folks from Xenacoj!
...(sniff,sniff) so sad.
@MrQUEXEL I don't know how to answer this except that I live in Santo Domingo Xenacoj, Sac Guatemala. I rent a house, live here with my family, and rent a space for my Church and facility and if it's not Santo Domingo Xenacoj then I am wondering where I am and where I live! If you don't think it's Xenacoj, where do you think it is?
GREAT JOB
IF I WOULDN'T OF KCKED HIM HE WOULDA ATTACKED!!
Your kids are funny! As always, it's nice seeing your kids and Ang again! Oh, this is Amy, not Ben.
What a great video! And such a beautiful song. We're so happy sharing our church with you, may God's blessing shine.
WOW!!! when I saw all those children running to give their life to the Lord I couldn't do anything but cry and say PRAISE YOU JESUS!! I would love to be a part of the next trip because I feel it is my mission to spread the word of God to all those who do not know him and to also help out those who are less fortunate then I am.
