Help please, I have been trying to thread the lower looper on my 4DR overlocker now for 2 days, following all instructions on the manual and on youtubers - I am almost at the end of my tether, when I lift the leaver up it does not catch on the other side and thread keeps hanging down, as if I have not lifted the threader lever - will someone please help me?

I've tried the second way but I find the threads seems to have a lot of resistance? Presser foot is definitely lifted

Thank goodness at long last a tutorial for the embroidery unit I can now start to use it

Does the binding have to be folded once before you put in the attachment? Does it not work with a strip of binding that isn’t pre folded so it becomes double folded as it attaches?

Is the fabric that's being fed into the attachment folded, or single layer? thanks

Thanks for your tutorials on this Cover Stitch Machine, they have been very helpful. I bought the machine a few weeks ago and am very pleased with it. Having previously owned a more expensive machine which I really struggled with, mainly getting the correct tension, this machine has been a pleasure to use and I have used it to cover stitch hems and necks on knit garments which look very neat!!! and I am about to use it to hem a cotton dress.
