I too have been searching for tv Koko cartoons for decades. I have a few on 16mm film, but my projector died. I love all the Hal Seegar cartoons!

Why does the copyright say 1993? (MCM) 1900 (XC) 10 in front of 100- which is 90 (III) 3. Kind of ironic as I learned Roman numeral dates watching the old Popeye cartoons Fleischer did in the 30s.

UPDATE: After re-wtching this cartoon, It seems to me like Max Fleiscer was reliving his glory days in this episode. It feels a lot like the original 20's shorts, Plus the use of the bouncing ball sing-a-long & the rotograph, both of which are HIS inventions. Now, It has a sad aura to it, at least to me. This seems like his last hurrah, knowing he would die of arterial sclerosis of the brain in 1972. Also, this is the only episode of the reboot he appeared in, as he became too ill to act for it. Really, the story of Max is a rather sad one.

@@Klook6950Extras It's also the only one Max Fleischer acted in, he got too sick to act for any more after this. But the point still stands; Most of the actual show is lost.

This has to be the earliest episode in this series. "Uncle Max," was more active than in later episodes...and there was a Bouncing Ball Sing-Along.

This was far more fluid than the Koko The Clown cartoons I remember as a small boy in the late 60s, but there is a sweetness to this episode. The 1960s version of Koko the Clown was the earliest cartoon I remember seeing on television and I was quite fond of them as a boy, but although I don't remember this one, it's very well done even without the nostalgia.

Those singers remind me of at least one of the groups that made jingles for radio stations through the 1950s and '60s. Guess they were available!

the intro is just…. **error** it’s just so smooth but yet so calm and modernism that can make you like this is a vivzepop experiment.
