Top 5 things I HATE about my 1999 Mustang GT!
I work at Caliber collision we use the expensive ass Rupes polishers. They work great for polishing but suck for getting rid of sand scratches. I’m in the process of getting everything together for a detailing business on the side. I spent too much on a rigid vacuum and a rigid 6 gallon air compressor. I really wanted the Milwaukee cordless polisher. I decided to buy this same polisher tonight. A polisher is a polisher. I’ll get the Milwaukee when I can afford it but I’m doing my wife’s car in the morning and will see how this cheap polisher does. For the price I won’t be upset but it’s better than nothing. I think I’ll be ok after watching someone that’s not a professional do a decent job. I really hope it’s a POS lol
@@olD_Eazy681 thanks for responding and hey I think since you have experience you can probably get it to do more than I was! Thanks for watching! Good luck with the business!
😂😂
Love it😂
@@7624wings Thanks! I would love to see your detailing on UA-cam!
Good job 👏
Reading the comments, i have a v6 and it is very loose where it goes into valve cover I think. It comes out very easily? Assuming this would cause a vacumm leak. Would it allow to much air into the engine?
Awesome video bro stay safe
0 here's to you and here's to me and shall we both disagree .....----------
But if this video helps me thank you
Why didn't you just take one of the screws off the old battery if you bought the exact same one light come on man
I have the elbow, but not the hose from elbow to air intake. Do you know what that part is called or should i just use vaccum line from part store 😅
Unfortunately I do not know :(. I am very honest in my videos that like you I am learning! I simply share what I do to keep my Mustang in good running order and in no way wish to mislead but people can be a little tough in these comments! lol.
would this work with the 96’ gt with the same 2v 4.6? i would assume.
I would assume so but I am not qualified to give you that advice! If any of my viewers knows this answer please reply here!
What’s a good buy
It might have helped to lube hoses so they'd slide on easier.
Yes I agree! Again I have zero mechanical experience so I learn from the comments! Thanks for taking a moment to do so!
Simply replace the hose on the other side with a longer piece!
Are these the original handlebars?
Not sure as I bought the bike which was customized a bit by the previous owner. They are Honda ones but I cannot confirm if they are originals.
So, I just completed the MSF course, got my endorsement. I also bought a 2004 shadow 750. It's in my garage and i'm a little intimidated by the weight. Is it going to be harder than riding those 250's at the msf? I have to practice on my street, can't get to an empty lot. Do i just get on it and go or is there something i more i need to know about this heavier bike?
I ride a 250 to learn in class but taught myself the basics on my 750. First I just turned it on and learned my friction zone. Release clutch until it moves forward then stop. I rocked back and forth until I got used to balancing it and THEN I ride around slowly. You will love it! Thanks for commenting
@@WildstyleKustoms Thanks for the inspiration
@@CasualCruiser I am working on new videos on the bike and more! Stay tuned I will shout you out!
Keep it for you and your dad's sake , I have one just like it and it is my favorite of my three, Even though it's just a six.
Praying for you! It is a very tough road to go down buddy! I’m here if you need to talk! Y’all are like family to me!
Hey bud I got you if you ever need help
I have a 2004 V6,and the electric windows have been a headache..The guide plates which are siliconed to the glass pop off.Its a common problem on the mustangs..I just recently replaced my headlights for the second time..I bought the smoke headlights from american muscle.Unfortunely they block out the light too much..I went to LEDS and now they are brighter..I had the same problem gettingt the bulbs i as you did.I had to leave out the round sleeve that pushes up against the back of the headlight fixture.I used the old retainer off an older fixture..Im worried about it leaking now.On the drivers side i was able to get the sleeve on.
No more Honda Shadow videos for us 🙁
Actually I am planning on returning to the channel I just made a video as to why I have been offline I lost my father a few weeks ago.. I actually shot that video and yesterday was my first bday without him. Thanks for following up!

Nice motorcycle my friend
Thank you!

Where did you get the elbow at please?
Advanced Auto Parts if you pause the video at :38 seconds you will see brand and model number on the packaging. :)
Going by pic of what bike use to look like, that's not a Spirit. I have a 03 Spirit 750, if u look them up, the rear fender is smaller, not as large as pic shown of what bike use to look like.
I bought one, and now I'm just finding videos all over youtube of people having problems with them so much for a reputation for reliability
Well I have only had the one issue in over 2 years with the battery outside of that this bike has been super reliable.
This motorcycle would of been so much better if it was a straight air cooled twin and lost the radiator, and added or kept the fuel injection. They didn't switch to fuel injection until the 2012 model... and there's very few used one of those out there to find for sale. I love my straight twin air cooled Hondas. I'm not even sure how you'd change the rear drum brakes on the shaft drive version. I would be like, WTF am I suppose to do to replace these? The gas tank is kind of an illusion, because there's a big airbox going up the center of it. Anyway, I wouldn't pay more than 2000 tops for this bog standard bike. Probably the worst thing about this bike is the rear foot pegs are located way up high, meaning as the driver you can't move your legs every now and then back and forth between the front and back pegs to keep from cramping. You're stuck with the front pegs and that's it. If your feet go looking for non existant rear pegs during a ride like mine being use to them being there, you're libel to hit dead air or worse hit the ground with your foot and run over your toe. In fact, I'd rather have my feet on some rear pegs once I get going on a long stretch and don't have to shift or brake. Makes it a lot easier to stand up when going over a bump too.
Thanks for commenting. I bought it like this but it was waaay more standard before they customized it. I have an original photo. :)
There's lot of folks that work on metric bikes... Honda and Harley-Davidson are neck and neck with 20% each of the market share for motorcycles in the US... Yamaha is 12%, Kawasaki is 12%, and Suzuki 7%... so metric bike make up over half of the market...
Thanks for taking the time to comment!
I bought Die Hard batteries many times for cars in the past, so I am glad I was also able to find one for my '12 Spirit. I find it easier to find the correct parts for vehicles by taking the old ones to the parts stores with me whenever possible. Even though I live in a desert environment and humidity here is low, I use battery connector spray to keep the connections from corroding.
Thank you for sharing your experience!
Rock on bro! Thanks for documenting your journey im 40 and just bought my first bike.

@@WildstyleKustoms same as yours just in white! Thanks for asking keep up with the content!
Exact same bike owner here sounds like the pipes may be causeing deceleration afterfire you could try messing with the air fuel screw and or swap out the pilot jet just some pointers to keep her healthy!! Awesome looking ride man
Thanks for the advice I will look into it! More vids after Christmas! Thanks for commenting!
I prefer to look at it as a perk instead of a issue. After i went highflow exhaust with my carbs jetted and tuned it has a pretty pop if you let off the throttle in the low end. I noticed a much more clean engine break that really bites after i did that as well. I love this bike going on year 3.
@@YerGoodBuddyKeith great way to look at it!
Excellent video, thank you for being honest and open with your personal learning to ride experience. I started riding at the age of 49 in 2012. I now have over 125,000. I love riding and watch a lot of U2 videos. I even wrote a monthly column in a free motorcycle magazine for a while. My Honda is the third bike I have owned is in hibernation here in Buffalo from about mid November-to about Mid April. I hope to be a snow bird someday. Be safe and enjoy!! Go Bills!!!
Thanks for taking time to comment I love hearing your input! I am working on some new videos so please subscribe! Merry Christmas!
That's a crankcase vent not the pcv hose or pcv valve. lets not spread misinformation.
Good to know! I state clearly in these videos that I am learning and not a mechanic but I appreciate the info so I can learn and update it!
That's literally what pcv stands for: positive crankcase ventilation
Good job, bro! Awesome video!!..👊🏽
Thanks I just want to help others not go through what I did!
How did you clean the gunk and corrosion off of the engine compartment?
The terminal was so corroded I removed the entire negative cable and replaced with a new 6 gauge one and removed old battery and replaced with all new one. I then used Armor All Tire Foam on a rag to shine things up!
That's good that you bought the new battery
That very first C5 Corvette was mine 😂 I do like the 69 better too.

It has a custom license plate on the left rear and led turn signals on the forks and very bright led headlight! :).
Nice! I’ve seen those kits and wondered how well they work.
